    Not sure like.

Saying he simply has to play inexperienced strikers but he is forced to do so, and that is the reason for the dip.

Really clear he isn't happy with he recruitment

Its the same every game. Mayenda has played 152 minutes worth of football, has had 6 shots and I think maybe 2 were decent chances. His movement is great, he shows for the ball, he makes runs in behind. Not his fault.

If he's instructing them to not pass it's a shambles. If they are doing it off their own back they need dropped. Either way its a pathetic situation which will not be solved by a mythical experienced striker.

He's not simply blaming the bad run on the strikers as this article claims ...

... it's a team game and Mowbray accepts he's only a part of that when we win and when we lose.

This is just targeting Mowbray as part of an agenda tbh

If we were creating multiple really good chances per game for the forwards and they were missing them all I would understand his complaints but his system is causing this issue. An experienced striker is not scoring goals in this team.

But as I’ve already stated most of this seasons top scorers aren’t proven at any level higher than League 1 and most are young lads. We’ve got a more expensive striker than 15+ teams in the league.

Good managers get on with it and put their faith in the player. Ours just moans about nout and his arse drops at half time if they haven’t scored yet.

Doesn't his system have two flying wingers who are almost always given the ball ...

...much like Reid with Summerbee and Johnston.

Summerbee and Johnston played wide and put the ball in the box so no, completely different to the current system. In fact I'd say the complete opposite to the current system.

The highest scoring striker in the league this season is Rajovic at Watford and I do not have a clue who he is. Armstrong and Piroe are both playing as a 10 I think.

It's identical until the wingers fail to put the ball in or the strikers don't make the run ...

... whether that's Mowbray's direct instructions or the players' decision is the difference, and the conundrum.

And as I said before, either way is a shambles. If its Mowbrays instructions it's not good enough, if its the players decision then they need dropping.

I think it was a rhetorical question, there is no way Mowbray is telling his wingers to not pass to his strikers, and there is no way that the wingers are refusing to pass to the strikers.

It's given us some of the best football I've seen in fifty years. I stood open-mouthed at Reading watching Roberts and Clarke.

If you think that's a shambles then fair enough ....

... it's a wonderful memory I'll go to my grave with.

What? I'm talking about the situation this season with the strikers. We are playing a different system to last season, for instance the sweeping move against Reading for Clarke's goal is probably the best goal i've seen SAFC score, we aren't even attempting them moves now.

Well the strikers are constantly free in the box so what do you suggest the solution is?

    So who are you blaming?

    It's the same players ...

... are they being told not to pass and move.

The first two goals at Reading was Roberts cutting in, from the right, and shooting ...

... exactly what he's doing now.

    Is that Mowbray's fault.
