Mowbray and the staff for the system and the players who are here to be the creative spark. Equal share of the blame. Mowbray done some fantastic work but this will probably be what loses him his job.

The problem is we got used to playing to Amed and we have lost our way, it's down to not having a target or a forward that can hold the ball up.

Being 3 points off the playoffs before Christmas and having key players out with injuries ...

... we have a bunch of kids who'll get better as the season progresses and a depth few can match.

If this is a shambles God help us all.

Don't forget, you predicting he'll lose his job doesn't mean the club feel the same ...

... in fact it means nowt.

because they are fed up of wasting passes to anyone of the 4 forwards we have not holding play or the ball up.

We’ve lost more games than Huddersfield who are 21st. That’s after being beaten by them, Plymouth, Stoke and Millwall who were all bottom 5-6 teams at the time iirc and drawing 0-0 against the 10 men of Swansea who were 18/19th at the time. Fair play if you can see positives beyond that but that’s not form that gets you promoted.

We’re 5 points off 5th and 6 points off about 20th with 3 tough games coming up before Coventry at home I think it would be a fairer shout to see where we’re at after those which is the half way stage.

All managers are Bob, they always want more which is great, we should always be looking for more ...

... and there'll always be arguments between coaches, recruitment, managers and players.

I worked the doors with 18 lads, at Rock City ...

... some of us absolutely hated each other but we were a bloody good team

Last month Leicester failed to beat the bottom club Sheff Wed, lost twice and only won one game with two late goals from a substitute ...

... stats are great if you choose them carefully.

I'm off to Sunderland for the WBA and Leeds, for a few days but in the Railway Friday around 2/3pm for a toastie if you're around <laugh>

BTW, if you're so sure of your facts it's not actually gamble is it ...

... or don't you trust yourself while expecting me to?

That’s a bit of a weird one mate what’s that got to do with us they’re still top of the league..? Every dog can have its day but it seems like every dog IS having its day against us at the minute mate. It’s like saying Man City didn’t beat Wolves but Crystal Palace did.

We’ve lost 8 and most of them are to teams you expect to be bottom half. Played 3 newly promoted teams and lost twice. Of the games we’ve won other than Southampton and Blackburn away are any of the others really what you’d say is a good result? Birmingham, Sheff Wed, QPR and Rotherham are formalities.

Watford and Norwich at home fair enough you could probably argue they’re alright but other than that we’ve mostly won games you’d expect us to win and certainly games we’ve been massive favourites in.

I do get your point though you could interpret it any matter of ways, for me though it just amplifies that with a better manager we’d be flying this season because we’ve dropped so many points against teams we should be beating. Obviously you could blame a lack of striker for that or whatever else just my opinion

It was just one of many possible examples I could have used tbh.

I'm not really sure what it is you're trying to say so why not spit it out and state exactly what you want?

Are you saying Mowbray plays Mayenda but tells our players not to pass to him?

I don’t get what’s difficult to understand about what I’ve said? We’ve lost 4 games to teams who were in the bottom 6 at the time as well as a 0-0 draw against another who had 10 men for over an hour.. how can you really blame anyone else bar the manager?

If it was struggling to beat teams in and around us I’d probably tend to agree more on the lack of striker front but we’re failing to beat absolute dross.

So you want Mowbray sacked now, is that it?

I'm saying the system isn't working. I doubt he's telling them not to pass to Mayenda as that would be ridiculous. But its clear as day when you watch the games back that on countless occasions the strikers runs are being ignored.

I’m not sure I want him sacked right now, I think we are doing some things right and it would be harsh but as Sour Patch has highlighted the strikers do make runs. I lost count of how many times Hemir ran in behind Ipswich and pointed to where he wanted the ball and didn’t get it.

First game of the season, haven’t played with a striker for a while fair enough it’s new to them. But 20 games into the season and none of them getting their heads up to see a run in behind is worrying, surely it’s been addressed? Last time I mentioned certain fan favourites being exempt from criticism I got pelters but I stand by that opinion. Clarke is exceptional let’s just get that out of the way first so this is in no way me saying otherwise but how many times does he get the ball and just put his head down and run to the byline? He won a penalty from that exact type of run against Millwall but is beneficial more than it’s of detriment? Roberts has done absolutely nothing all season yet he’s still playing most weeks. Jobe doesn’t look like a 10 but he’s persisting with it. There’s your 3 players who are supposed to be providing service for a striker and they’ve probably got 2-3 assists between them in 19 games.

My biggest gripe with TM is that nothing has changed in 4 months. Same Xl most weeks, same tactics, same mistakes and same results.

    Just my opinion, as always.

Are you telling me that if we lose our next 2 games, TMs position will not come under severe pressure? Coz I think he’d be toast.

I’ll be in my toastie on the 15th <laugh><laugh><laugh>.
