Tony Mowbray ...

Welcome Tony. Time to come in and steady the ship.

I'm not looking for miracles, but think you'll prove to be a good appointment and mid-table obscurity will do for this season.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow night and a few more through the door for you to work with.

I think he will be a decent appointment, plays the same system as we have been playing, and knows how to get the best out of young players, don’t get me wrong AN was a good fit for us and I can understand his reason for leaving, if someone offered me 3 times my salary I would take it.

however we move on and I think TM is the correct decision from the club.

Plays 3 at the back? Roberts won't be happy.

welcome aboard TM (when it is finally announced/if it is him) hopefully the nay-sayers will realise that you are a good fit for this club at this time.

'excited and elated?' ...no, but happy enough to give the lad a fair chance and imho, possibly one of the better decisions the club could have made.

EDIT: actually thinking about it, i knew feck all about AN and was hardly excited or elated by his appointment either and that turned out ok (in respect of we got promoted)...every coach/manager and player is a risk so feck it.
