With Keane as managerGet Niall back to connect us.
I’ve only seen a few pictures of him but he has the look of a proper tycoon to me....

I have heard that these guys, if true know and could attract many other billionaires from Europe and middle east. I believe fuhrman is still going to be involved - they want some empire but want to shine an old penny. It's a game to them and they want to win.....could be the start of a mega coaster ride.
It's not far fetched to think that if Kyril is football mad, and is used to the Marseille support, he has watched Sunderland 'til I die and thought "that'll do for me". I reckon he'll have thought it in French, but you get my jist.
Basically it may not just have been a case of Juan selling us to him. Sunderland 'til I die has brought us to folk who normally would see us as just some club in England.
I read something that he tweeted in the summer something along the lines of 'stay safe' but he was in the middle east and the story went on that Marseilles fans went into overdrive that he was bringing some Arab money into the club....Marseilles fans sound a bit like us in that matter, looking for any grain of a link to a rich investor.....of course if this was the case about an Arab investor his tweet might just have been directed to a different club
'Post 1000' . . . . that was a long time ago, mind![]()
I would include @Hawyatt Earp in that list as well....I said yesterday we want some 'Joy' on page 1000...all other posters apart from @Prehab26 @Wheatsheaf @Smug in Boots & @Magnus should be banned from posting on it
SMB is still decent for a read now and then but pure football isn't that good, I think it's probably inevitable due to the amount of people that use it. Anyone saying anything moderate or being quite respectful ends up ignored so everyone ends up saying things that will get a response.
Right 40 today, today would be a wicked day to announce a takeover or a big update maybe, anything will do, Parky out aswell keep up the good work lads appreciate you all

To be fair I posted this because I have seen reports from so called respectable news outlets on tinternet and on Facebook with articles about us claiming this is happening and that is happening, fans are becoming confused and this leads to a bit of a lack of excitement which I believe should be the exact opposite as we should be embracing the dawn of this new era and as fans of our club but instead find ourselves complaining about SD and CM. I belive in the old adage that a fool and his money are soon parted and if what people have said about the failed FPP bid and how it was handled then I am sure somewhere down the line that will be levelled. I just hope that whoever and however the proposed takeoverhappens that it is right for this great club and that we lift our heads and march forward without looking back. A new brush sweeps clean as they say and we as fans need to come together either on a forum on the Internet in the media or at stadiums and let the footballing world hear us sing at full voice again. All Good and valid points, however, I would bet over 90% of fans couldn't give a rats arse about who gets what percentage etc etc...all we want is a decent team to support and match the passion of the crowd. What happens in the boardroom is obviously important and of interest, but we have zero control over that we are only going get the result of what is currently being negotiated...lets all hope its good and there are exciting times ahead...we deserve it.
I think with the new lad, we'll be on a Swiss roll.
He's been a bit quiet last couple of weeks.I would include @Hawyatt Earp in that list as well....
I think there may even be a couple more who go a bit unnoticed.
Gareth Hall?Agree with this. It might be me getting long in the tooth (54), but I can't hack all the hissy fits, and all the "X is the worst player ever to play for SAFC" posts, posted by people half my age.
I prefer the SMB side these days.
Will William tell the truth?More like Hamburger Gessler
I Will not Tell you again
You would probably go cuckoo clock on me
Happy cake day mate. I had my 40th the day the first lockdown started.Right 40 today, today would be a wicked day to announce a takeover or a big update maybe, anything will do, Parky out aswell keep up the good work lads appreciate you all
Makes sense really, doesn't it. And they would now be dealing with like-minded, successful business people, where failure is NOT an option......rather than a pair of chancers.I probably know the least of any of those people but I'm confident about my info.
Still nothing to say Fuhrman has given up.
FPP must've put £1m into this all so far, with DD, lawyers, advisors, feasibility studies, flights, etc.
Things are clear for me if you look at it this way ...
... they invested in a club being run by a chancer with little real wealth, why not continue to invest now when we have serious people?
That investment could eventually make them a lot more than if Donald and Methven were still there.
