It's because Beale is a good coach, but he's a shocking leader. That's what his issue was at rangers and us, he isn't an motivating person but is very good at setting up training drills
He suits being a no2 or coach, where his focus is on the training drills and letting others do the motivating and setting the standards as he can't do that
Think that's it too. Some people, most actually, do not want to be in charge of others. The problem came with us assuming he could do a job he had shown he couldn't do at Rangers.
I think he did his best, had some unfair stick hoyed at him, but he never looked like he would work here, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him at a notable club as a number two again sometime.
