Most of the Hull Fans were bemused, to say the least, when he was sacked. Much like us when Tony Mowbray was hoofed out. We got luckier than them
wouldn’t say we were surprised. Some wanted him to so, as they felt he’d taken us as far as he could But get your point
Yeah great for him, however, if it starts to go wrong, it’s tinkering too much. I like him mind. Wouldn’t have been upset if he’d got the job. But I’m very happy with Reggie
It does help Rosenior that his players ability is way above the clubs perceived stature mind. Potentially a very big club like, there’s demand for football in that part of France, but a bunch of Chelsea loaners on subsidised wages has helped him out. I do rate him mind and would have been ok with him coming here.
Cesc Fabregas doing a decent job for Como over in Italy. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him have interest elsewhere this summer
If this thread was for up and coming coaches to keep an eye on: - Michel Kniat has done a great job stopping the rot at Bielefeld after 2 consecutive relegations they finished just outside the relegation places again, but now hes got them flying up in 2nd and playing a nice brand of football. - Again in 3.Liga (probably some bias as i enjoy german football) Sabrina Wittmann has been a really cool story coming through the ranks at Ingolstadt and becoming the first female head coach in Germany. A more traditional system of 4-4-2, with both strikers being 6'2/6'3 but deserving of a job in the 2.bundesliga and I look forward to seeing how she does. - Adrian Siemienciec was on my shortlist for managers before Le Bris alongside Hurzeler, done relatively well with what he has in Europe with Jagiellonia Bialystok and despite only being 3rd in the polish league he completely transformed them stylistically when he came in going from 14th to 1st in his first season for their first Ekstraklasa title. Plays a similar brand of football to Le Bris but more in control of the ball, a 433 that can become a 442 or a 4231 situationally with a lot of goals coming from that more advanced midfielder. Interested to watch his journey and expect a move to either Belgium, Netherlands could be next on the cards for him.
just because hes done well there doesnt mean anything, we were sold that Parkinson was great and would get us promoted.... some managers/coaches just fit certain clubs, Take Peter Reid, him and us were perfect Us and keane us an BSA,
Well. I’m thinking if he does get us up on Saturday, he’s on his way to being a Clough. Even if we get beat, he’s shown that he’s strong enough to do as he wishes and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. That’s why I call him Le Brick as he’s stubborn. It’s interesting for us to have a manager that doesn’t kowtow to us supporters and believes in himself. Let’s see how it goes. Onwards!
