I think the term is more aimed at someone you’d see as a ****house who wouldn’t stand up to something they feel is wrong. They’ll just say yes to whatever their boss asks them to do because they’re scared of stepping out of line.

I hadn't given the 'yes man' criticism much thought before but now you mention it, it's complete nonsense isn't it. We want someone who will get on with their job within the setup not someone inclined to fight the system from within. Mowbray was great but all the complaining he did was tiresome, counterproductive and when we tried to compromise we ended up with Dack.

I've read good things about Bellamy but I think as a manager he could end up like Keane and Di Canio , where he is too hard on the players and they will not be able to live up to his expectations.
