Aye I do the old running tights under jeans trick for winter night games.

I openly confess I’m a fanny with the cold.

It’s easy enough keeping your top half warm with modern clothing but my legs ****ing freeze in winter, always have.

If it’s cold like today but with rain added gonna be a grim one.

@Draig will remember our old PE teacher mr Wright. Top bloke.
(Like a character from the Sweeney)<laugh>
Lads complaining about football practice in the snow and ice back in the day.
"If you're cold, wear a pair of yer mams tights ya big fannies".

But sir, we'll look right fannies prancing around in tights".

"Then get some tackles in early boy".

<laugh><laugh><laugh>

Or summat like.
Nowadays the schools are closed if the met predicts more than one snowflake <laugh>

Anyways.

HA'WAY THE LADS

MACKEMS ATTACKEM

Not taking this one for granted even after our last great result.
Anything can happen in this league and it does to other teams as well as us.
We've just got an excellent never say die team spirit, coupled with skill and excellent coaching and tactics.
Enough to see us through to promotion.

Cooooomon.

A lack of subs always has me worried mind.

Catching up on the press conference. Barnes is such a prick. Thick as a castle wall and desperate to write yet another ‘ambition’ article on WMS or to pontificate about it on the radio. A know-nowt and a rabble rouser for the lowest common denominator. Bellend.
It was the same the other week. When Hume was on the bench. Le Bris told Barnes he’d been ill, Narmes appeared to question it and Le Bris looked at the.room” as if to say “is this guy for real”! Complete prick of a block

honestly can’t stand him and I don’t even have access to his commentary or radio show. My only involvement with him is these press conference

Cannot see it getting called off…unless there’s a major ramping up of the weather models. Snow forecasting is incredibly hard to predict and sometimes it can only be a few hours notice before forecasters can be really accurate. Game on tomorrow……. But can’t see them needing the sprinklers on!!

I worked in Hampshire for a while and there were loads of the delusional ones there
- a bit ironic that the company sponsored their rivals <laugh><laugh>
I was the same mate worked there for 2 years and did not mind the Southampton fans but the Portsmouth fans were very different. They still believe that the cup they won was deserved even though it has been shown that everything they did was a house built on cards and finally collapsed.

I am in Derbyshire. Snow starting now. Forecast to dump on us for about 7-10 hours overnight.

Let my cousin use our ticket tomorrow. Was planning on coming up, but my car is like bambi on ice in any sort of frozen stuff. Would have been my first game for a while, so was looking forward, but at least it is on the box.

Form gives us a major chance. Talent does too. A win here and we can take a bit of a breather, get 1 or 2 back in and around the squad, and do some good tactical work on the training pitch. Just a good solid performance, and 3 points will do me. If Neil and Jobe can keep that midfield locked up again then we should all be celebrating tomorrow night.

Thank you RTB, as always a treat.

OK mate, I was just waiting for that post to start packing my bag.

I was fearing the worst but my train is showing as 'on time' so I'm going to set my alarm <laugh>

I’ve had heated jackets for years and am a big fan of them but my last one wasn’t that good so I’ve just bought a heated body warmer. Used it for the first time new year’s night and it was the best I’ve had, he’d love it I’m sure.
Have you got a link for that please mate, I've had lots of spinal operations and have titanium rods from my pelvis to half way up my neck. This has left me with nerve damage which makes you feel the cold very easily. I've seen a few on amazon for around £80 but prefer personal reccomendations...cheers
