After yesterday's results this game seems even more important to our season.
Last week was a really important result in our season and was probably the most important of the season against a promotion rival. Today however probably has more significance as a result today will really put pressure on the teams above us.
I hope we stay cool, calm and collected (which we normally do) and pick these off clinically and effectively. I also believe that the ref will play a big part in this game as Pompey will be physical and to be honest dirty to try and get a result. The key to this game will be ensuring we keep up the pressure at the right times and push home territorial advantage when we do have the ball.

Been some heavy snow overnight in TS28, hopefully rain coming to melt it away.

Chances this might get called off?

Light dusting of snow in Sunderland central. Due to rain heavily across the day so it's just going to be very wet and cold I think. Rather than heavy snow fall etc.

Zero IMO. It's just going to rain from now on. Surrounding areas should be absolutely fine.

Yeah very cold and wet. With wind chill and sleet, it's a feeling of -3 throughout the day.

Got a canny covering in Washington but it will probably be all gone soon once it turns to rain. Not going to even bother clearing the car or drive! Be shocked if it’s called off

I'll see what I can do although me and tech don't always mix well. This may take a while, mid morning maybe, got some stuff to do first.
