Over an extended period of time though.

Folk are spitting their fannies out cos we haven’t spent £5milliin on players who haven’t scored 20 in their career man. Daft.

60 goals in the last 3 seasons. A big dominant striker in form. No problem mate. We are a second division club tell me what striker you’d go after

Question for ya mate, do you reckon KS gets the bullet if we fail to get a capable striker in?
Not that I want it to happen (not get the striker in), I value us having a team that can have a go more than his future

Can sign a player who’s scored for fun in a top league and they flop.

Likewise can sign a nobody and they bag for fun.

For every Vardy there’s a Shevchenko. Mendy could be either but his stats and physique look great.

KLD has already said he'll covert his debt to equity.

Our annual wage bill is around £25m ...

... the Stewart money wasn't £10m up front, it may never reach that figure.

I would think Regis would know him better than anyone else that's perhaps why we are persevering with the transfer and haven't moved on to another target.

Every player we sign doesn’t have to have resale value though, the gems we’ve managed to pick up will more than cover the fee in the longer run. Bayern spent £90m on Kane, his value is only going down.

If someone brought in to increase the quality of the squad, increased its value from around £10-12 million to around £150 million spending about £25 million, then I’m sure there would be some questions if they were fired.

I was told, ages ago, that the club wanted a CF signing and a young PL loan.

Everyone has been talking about Clarke leaving, for two years, so he no doubt will at some point.

That will help us sign players, or hold onto the likes of Jobe, as they know they'll be allowed to leave if they progress ...

... it's a win win situation and the first time I've ever seen us in such a good position.

All this speculation about Speakman being on borrowed time ...

... is just speculation and people need to stop being fixated with it imo.

I don't know another club, in our situation, who mention their backroom staff as much as us tbh.

Pretty sure you were telling us around 5-6 weeks ago that the club were going to have a right go this summer, what's changed?

    We didn’t pay £8million for a striker that’s scored 13 in 6 seasons…

There's a player that I honestly thought would smash the premier league, such a disappointing time he had

They signed players for money after Stewart left, plus how do you know the 10 million is a gone.

Took it with a pinch of salt, and i suppose it's how you view having a go. With two weeks left i have little faith we will sign what we need.
