Aye. Shame in a way cos if he’d had the right ‘football people’ he’d have been a hero and taken us places.

He invested enough for it to happen, was just a ****ing **** show HOW it was used

I don't have any animosity to Short, we've had much worse and so have many other clubs ...

... Ashley has been one of the best imo.

Short just attempted to run the club from afar and put his trust in the wrong people. He was way out of his depth, he could have easily let the club go into administration but thankfully he didnt.

As for Ashley, if he hadn’t been the way he was with spending the mags wouldn’t have been able to spend as much as they are now due to financial constraints. The fans refuse to see that though, just like Rafa doesn’t take any of the blame despite being an absolutely ****e manager for them.

Alan Nixon replying to someone on twitter saying that the Frigan deal is a live one and a deal we want to make but unsure on the figures

Make of that what you will I know when he does get sunderland info its pretty late in the deal

Fingers crossed as he looks a good fit on paper for us

Looks like that mag who has a source at the airport was right this weekend gone when he said Matija Frigan was landing in the North East

Plane was OE-GIN

I would like to see 2 strikers in regardless of RS. He's not going to be fit beginning of the season anyway.
1 is a minimum imo. (though 1 buy and 1 loan would be ok as well)
We usually play with 1 striker.

Stewart and Frigan as the main two, with Hemir developing into that role plus a winger/forward similar to amad who can play across the front line would be perfect

Can't see us signing two like unless Stewart is leaving this window which I think is unlikely anyway

I don't know who these proposed players are, I almost never do! And in any case we have to see them on our grass, and this team haven't picked a badun yet.

But on the "Two now" business, I think if the club think they are the right players and the numbers work, they'll do it. We are better prepared for anyone leaving if we are okay in the position and this applies to Ross Stewart as much as anyone.

We can want him. But does he want us? Or perhaps more pertinently, did he want us before he got ankle knack?

I wouldnt be surprised if we had 4 strikers in the squad this year. Be good if one is effective in a wide role or as a no10 as well

The fact we can have 9 subs now makes it easier to have 4 strikers in the squad. You always want game changers on the bench so the more forwards the better imo
I know I badger you every time an unknown link appears but seen much of this lad?

I think it would be good to have 4 options interesting to see if we do keep Stewart and sign someone would they let either Tutierov or Ogunsuyi join match day squads or want another experienced option
