I havent watched much croatian football tbh but ill check my reports later tonight as i have watched his team play a few times

Noticed brighton are close to signing a young Romanian winger that i reccomended to my club - very exciting youngeter, adrian mazilu
Champion thank you!

Townsend off to Burnley too might mean an end to the Clarke bids?

Martyn Waghorn wouldn't be a terrible signing in my opinion. Knows the club and area, extremely experienced at this level, can play in multiple positions, hasn't scored a lot of goals recently (played mostly on the wing) but would be a good mentor for Semedo and gives us another experienced head. Would probably agree to a 1-year and wages would be comparatively cheap.

What has he done to gain the ‘experienced’ tag though? One promotion in his career with Rangers and the rest of it spent kicking around the bottom end of the championship scoring a handful here and there. I see no experience there and I don’t see a good player

Would rather we went for the lads we've been linked with. We need players to come in and develop into Pl players. Loved Waghorn when he was here before, but he’s not what we need now.

By experience I'm referring to his 350+ games in professional football.

We are a different beast now mate. The club want to develope youngsters with the odd experienced head around. Those players must be a certain standard, hence why we are not offering Batth, Gooch and Pritch new deals. I love all 3 but the club is probably ahead of where they were expecting to be, hence why KS said that we need to be top two

Lee's problem here was as he admitted later, he thought his style would suit the club and the fans.
But did not take into account that most clubs saw us as the biggest scalp in the league and tried harder to beat us.

I said at the time in leauge one. There were leauge one teams that had leauge one players vrs a "Big club Us"... with a team of leauge one players. Every week they raised their games to 100 percent to beat Sunderland then the following week rolled over for either Barnsley or Luton.

Was it ever established which contract renewals were being alluded to on here as done and dusted a couple of weeks ago?

I'm still conscious that Roberts' is still outstanding.
