Looks like he's signing for either Coventry or Swansea unfortunately but looks a good player

If its true they offered that, it shows (like plenty have said) they will pay money where they think it is worth it.

 

Mad that folk insist we haven’t money and won’t spend it.

I’m sure most of us on this board aren’t expecting £10million signings despite the owners wealth.

Great point about Ellis. As much as he had to go, he did the club a huge favour with that gesture.

 

Looks like we're trying to get at least 1 maybe 2 in before they go away which makes sense to try and bed in while we're in America.

Wonder if 1 is from England/Europe and another from South America. Would make sense if they travel from South to North America to join up instead of South America to Sunlun and back to America. Been linked with a few and we know the club have been trying to establish links to clubs over there

 

From what I can see, all three of Frigan, Rusyn and Vente look like very similar players to me. Predominately central strikers but often play from the left (maybe less so Vente). Same with Aravena that we were linked with earlier in the window (although I think he plays more predominantly from the left).

It seems we are clear on what we want to bring into the squad. We’re probably enquiring about them all, hence the links in the press, but presumably only expecting/planning to bring in one.

 

Or perhaps two depending on Stewart.

I'm sure the club have plans A, B and C.

 

Surely they'd have to sign, have medicals etc before they fly out though? If that's the case they're flying tomorrow aren't they? Have we ever signed a player when we've been away before.

 

Jack Clarke signed when the squad were abroad last season, then flew out to join up

 

If we get rid of RS I can see us signing 3 forward players. Probably 2 out and out strikers and another who can fill in a few positions upfront

Ross Stewart won't be leaving this window. No side is going to pay money for a player recovering from an achilies injury.

 

Hopefully 2 striker (one that can also play on the wings) and CDM to come in before start of the season

 

I think that will do us. Still see a few moving on, so may have room for more incomings

 

Yeah true enough however that was in Portugal.

Issue with the US is that its out of Europe and would have to sort visas etc.

 

Still haven't used the loan market yet. Can see us using it near the end of the window.

 

Possibly mate, if we do I'd expect a quality player coming in
