But to be fair I don't think we have a single player on the books who isn't rumoured to be off!

Btw, what the **** happened with Krasic? For 7 mil and at 27 (?) I thought that would be good business and some serious pace on the wings.

He's been linked to absolutely everyone in Europe and quite frankly he wont be at Juve in the fall. However his agent needs to stop talking for a minute and find him a club. He's not well suited to a possession style game, he prefers running forward in counter attacks and direct play. The LFC link is either heavily censored for some reason or dead.

Another who I think everyone has gone quiet on is Honda. Did he ever get that move to Lazio or is he still at CSKA? He would be a good buy I think.
 
Allen just a matter of time now and fee.

Could cost less than the £15m which would be a great bit if business.

These "clauses" aren't going to come into it as both clubs have decided a deal is going to happen.

Probably Allen has told Swansea that he wants to go.
 
Everton sold Pienaar, 28 years old, in January 2011 for £3m to Tottenham. Since then he's barely had any games for Tottenham yet Everton have still paid £4.5m to have him back!

Yep, Pacheco has confirmed he's not taking part on Thursday. He sounds disappointed and said that he will show himself "someday".

Not encouraging to our youth. I understand Rodgers has seen more of him than we have but not in official matches. We have seen the same Pacheco, talented but inexplicably left out.

i have a few questions about some of your youth team i have been trying to keep my eye on for a while (if thats ok?).... Suso and Conor Coady? where do you think they will make it this season or (here is why i posted it here) will they go on loan?

He's still at CSKA. CSKA are not a selling club as they arent skint and they have a solid team in Dzagoev, Doumbia, Honda, Tosic +

They're reluctant to sell these big names as they need the publicity and the attraction of them to get new foreign players interested, (something we could learn from) as well as to keep playing in the CL.

All to do with the contract, Pienaar only had six months left when he left Everton. Still funny but then I shudder because I think of Andy Carroll <yikes>

Be a shame if he doesn't, would have thought the next few games would be a decent test to see how far Pacheco has come. He was one of the better player sin pre-season and offered pace out wide, unlike Cole who looked very pedestrian.
 
If the likes of Cole and Adam play on Thursday, then Rodgers will plummet in my estimations. Bad enough to leave Suso and Pacheco out, if he also drops Shelvey to the bench it will only get worse.

Agreed, i've been a bit angry all day about these decisions... however a thought just came into my mind and it might just be what's happening...

What if Suso, Sterling, Pacheco and Shelvey have already impressed BR enough that he's just giving them a rest, while Adam, Cole and Aquilani are getting their last chances to prove themselves? Perhaps this is more of the shop window and not quite the real deal yet. It's far fetched but if it's true then BR will go up in my books.

Confusing as **** really, they should just let us know 1% of whats going on haha

It's a nice theory but, of course, it would also cup tie Adam, Cole and Aquilani so it's not a great 'shop window'...<ok>
