I haven't seen any announcement whatsoever on a sponsorship for the stadium or anything mate.

I may be wrong here, but I think you are talking about this deal - link

The deal turned out not to be linked with the stadium.

Macca just posts other peoples info as his own that he gets from other forums. Everytime he comes out with something Duncan Jenkins, Tony Barrett, Ben Smith, and two other everyday Reds on Twitter who have excellent contacts have always posted it first and their the only people that should be listened to as their the only ones with proven track records.

Macca claims he got Rodgers well before he was announced but what he doesn't say is that he 'called' Rodgers by saying "Klopp is FSGs first choice but also can't rule out Rodgers" or something similar. It was hardly a definitive 'call' is it?

The people to listen to our:

Tony Barrett in The Times and less so on Twitter.
Duncan Jenkins on Twitter.
Ben Smith BBc and on Twitter.
Neil Jones Echo on Twitter
and a lad called Mark Mc on Twitter (I can't remember his Handle its something like @MarkMcmacca). I know Mark personally and know who his source is and its as good as they come (Mark isn't Macca before anyone thinks that).
a lad called Jay on Twitter (can't remember his Twitter name - for his and Marks above go to my Twitter @Tony_The_Red and look at my followers and find them on that list)

Brendan Rodgers...<ok>

Good luck to him, we needed to get that 120k off the books. Lets see how quick we move on the Allen deal now!

Aquilani leaves Liverpool after 3 years of poor decisions, poor attitude and high expectations.

EDIT: Rasmus Elm has joined CSKA Moscow.

Wishful thinking....

Liverpool are launching a bid for Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan.

Record says Liverpool are in talks with Benfica and willing to offer €18 million for the Argentina international.

Benfica had hopes of selling Gaitan to Manchester United for €30 million-plus to cover heavy financial losses.

But with United’s interest drying up, Benfica are now actively encouraging Liverpool to bid for the midfielder.

Goal.com are reporting that Dempsey has refused to play in Switzerland with the Fulham squad and has stayed at home to finalise a move to Liverpool.

They're reporting it like it's fact but then again it is goal.com.

Will try to find a reliable (or even credible source) for it.

well if bbc can report we accepted a bid "LFC HAVE" then surely its fact yet fiorentina deny any bid made.... ergo who's lying?

goal.com are rarely right. it seems the new fad is anyone not playing in a friendly needs to be linked to a move.... yet carroll who did play is still linked... hmmmmm.

With all of our players we are getting rid of loaned out, we better be buying some new blood and better at this rate!

Agger could be next it seems. **** sake.

Don't believe the Agger stuff, he said himself a week or two ago that he'd happily sign a new deal.

I'm sure someone is about to come in, all these deals have been timed for the squad returning from the USA. For all we know, the Carroll could have been on the go for weeks.

All in all, £2M now and the big possibility of £17M in a year seems like a good deal. And if West Ham don't take it, then Carroll will have a year more of football, albeit for Big Fat Sam.

15.43 BST: Brazil international goalkeeper Julio Cesar has confirmed that he is close to ending his spell at Inter Milan following the Italian side's capture of Udinese 'keeper Samir Handanovic.

Would be good for somebody.

Rumor floating around that Dani Pacheco has been told to find a new club and won't be participating at all in the tie on Thursday.

Shame really, our youngsters impress and get slapped in the face for it. Then we sell Agger and buy Dempsey and it's 2010 all over again.

Btw, what the **** happened with Krasic? For 7 mil and at 27 (?) I thought that would be good business and some serious pace on the wings.
