One did tell him to FO to be fair. I don’t care who disagrees with me or not, that’s life, I just don’t get all of this toxic **** that’s going on. Christ I used to be the epitome of it s few year ago, but I’ve mellowed since grandson was born. I’ve turned into a right old wet wipe, snowflake, blinkered, pussy flange, to name but a few.
I think you're lovely xx

It's a bit late for this tbh, but I was wondering if anyone knows what's happening with the lad we signed from Leipzig, Elias Lenz

A mate mentioned at Easter that Leipzig were refinancing and letting a dozen under 20's go.

This lad is supposed be to a real prospect, 6' tall, good on the ball and an 'organiser'.

But since he's arrived I haven't heard a word about him.

It's almost like Ipswich are prepping for next season in the Championship signing Szmodics and now Clarke. If they do go down they will probs go straight back up anyway.
It's possible though that JC has a clause in his contract if they go down this season.

I think they’ve recruited well mind. Given how close Luton came to staying up I think they have a great chance.

I think they will catch teams out and score goals, their gaffer is PROPER.

Why is it that everyone (well, large majority) on this forum is “disappointed but looking on the bright side”, yet twitter, Facebook and I guess over the road is in meltdown!
Smaller cross section of opinions on here. Not as open to any old nutter

Same was said of Luton so it will be interesting to see if they do go straight back up with that strategy

Seems anyone who’s seen him play sees a bit of a player by all accounts.

Football now is like the stock market..and players are mere commodities. Saying that, I do think our club are treating our players with a great deal of respect and giving them every chance to develop. Not sure why we are surprised and disappointed when a good player want to try his hand in the top league. The finances are not only non of our business but the numbers mentioned are nothing more than conjecture which may or may not be accurate.
What happens after this and who comes in should be all fans give a s hit about I fear this is not the case tho

can’t speak for others but whilst I would have obviously preferred him to stay and I would never downplay his impact here which was brilliant no one player is bigger than the club.

He has my best wishes apart from if he plays against us but I’m now more interested in how we improve as a team

N how much the sell on % is, wonder if theyve accepted a lower fee but got a big sell on % included in it thatll boost the fee

Be funny if he turns down the move - he wont but we can dream

I reckon theyll have a few lined up with that money

Time for Mundle to shine now, hes def got the ability to do it but as RLB said he has to find that consistency that Clarke has

According to some on social media the season is over already!!
Have high hopes for Mundle personally in the limited time I have seen him. I think it is important to remember that when Clarke first came here (at around the same age) he was nowhere near as consistent as he is now, but that came with playing regularly (he wasn't selected to start our play off final).
With better players around him and, fingers crossed more to come in, I think his trajectory will be quicker than Clarkes :emoticon-0178-rock:

Yeah me too
No one is bigger than the club
And I’m not bothered about him when he goes
