Think that means something quite different in Saudi Arabia! If we get offered silly money from a Saudi club for Óscar we should break their hand off.

Probably appropriate as it would be a robbery if it happened.Think that means something quite different in Saudi Arabia!
We could always wait and see who we sell, and who we buy, then do any necessary panicking. Less tiring that way.

The problem with that theory of 5 or 6 squad players people mention is, that the like of Fleming, Doc, Woods, Longman, even Sinik, we’d be lucky to get decent money for any of them. Wages off the books, but I doubt 3 of them are on that much, that would make such a huge difference.Maybe it's as many as 5 or 6 because they would rather sell squad players instead of selling Oscar & Greaves?
As in, it would take 5 or 6 squad players to get near the money that would be gained from selling Oscar & Greaves?
That would fit also with Rosenior's comments about wanting to work with a smaller, tighter squad.
Wonder also if the 5 or 6 include the already departed T Smith, Elder, Pelkas and Figs?
At least we know he’s learnt from his mistakes so far. But it’s all well and good doing all this amazing stuff off the pitch when all anyone really cares about is what happens on it at the end of the day.Or we can discuss comments from the owner and the narrative emerging that we're looking to sell 1-2 of our better players, and the implications of that on our transfer strategy in a thread centred around transfer discussion.

It does make me wonder how we aren’t actively pushing for the sale of Sinik though, considering he could bring a fee and at present he’s shown he’s absolutely not capable at this level. Instead 3 who’ve all shown it.

I'd actually be happy to see us selling Ally too.. I said last season but I just don't see enough from him to convince me that he's got what it takes. If there's genuine interest in him and Sinik surely we look to sell them over players in Oscar and Greaves who actually have a huge impact on our game.
I think it's true that Allahyar has had a limited impact in his season and a half here, but people forget or ignore that he's only very young. Being a regular starter at his age, if not always spectacular, does bode well for being able to become a top player at this level soon.
True, him and Tufan are my first choice for people on good wages. Tufan is great I just can’t see him as more than an impact sub when everyone is fit. And £30k a week shouldn’t be on the bench… Sinik I just don’t think is good enough.Who says we aren't? The owner talking him up means nothing, it just makes sense to talk up any player.

Maybe never will. Not really sure we've seen a fully fit and settled Sinik to definitively judge just yet.
Maybe never will.
