I worry that it's not a personnel thing and more a tactic/instruction thing that holds us back in the final 3rd. Pelkas/Sinik/Ally/Ebiowei have all struggled yet perhaps with the exception of Ally have all performed previously. Even the players that have done well its more sporadic than consistent.

You don't think it was an injury thing when none of em were fit for any length of time?

They only finished the season 3 or so weeks ago in Turkey. Think it will do him more good to spend some time with his family?

I really don't know the answer but I suspect that injuries is not the reason no. Certainly didn't help but when you look at our general shape and actions over a long period now it suggests to me it's not just about the players.

Tufan probably made the biggest or 2nd biggest contribution to our season last time. He should be one of the very first names on the team sheet.

I think the squad have today off and are back in training tomorrow so he could feasibly be back for then, albeit it seems pretty unlikely.

Regardless of what's said, I don't think he wants to be in England.

He can play 10, wide right, box to box or at a push as a false 9. I don't think he'll struggle for minutes. We're unlikely to have all first choices available all the time anyway.

It all adds up Jason Lokilo is 24 and is a fast winger. On loan in Turkey and just released on a free (again)

Oh I have no doubt he could become quite good, I just think if we're aiming to achieve something this season or next we need players here who are having an impact now. It's fine having young developing players when they're on peanuts or cost us nothing, like Vaughn and others, but when they're on a reasonable wage and would command a good fee like Ally and Sinik and would allow us to keep Oscar and Greaves, sometimes you make tough calls.
