Haha, you're right that's the vibe I'm getting from this forum. You guys seem to be very reactionary, like us Turkish fans (I guess we are all passionate about football). One week we are going to PL and Acun is Jesus Christ reborn, next week people are asking for Shota's head after a meaningless pre-season game...

I do find the lack of attacking chances concerning, but can we just calm the f down and let the team settle and the manager do his job before coming to any conclusions?
I am still processing how big Acun is, there were a fair few Turkish people in the Peterborough away end, the love you have for your country and it’s people is crazy

Well, I actually started following the team because there was this ****ty (in a good way) game called premier manager 97, and I would always pick Lincoln or Hull City for some reason. Flash forward 25 years, seeing Acun do that in real life made it very intriguing for me. But yeah, I guess people like him because he's a self-made man who came from nothing, basically one of us, and he also represents Turkiye in a way.

We have similar stories then. It all started for me picking Hull City in Championship manager 97/98 :emoticon-0148-yes:

“We’re delighted to bring Marcus in," said Boro boss Chris Wilder. “He played a big part in Brentford winning promotion a couple of seasons ago, and he knows this league well. He’s a good athlete and all-round player. We’re really looking forward to what he can bring to the squad.”

Schoolboy error, he thinks he's bought Ivan Toney.

Coyle confirmed as club captain this season, can’t see us signing a new RB/RWB now otherwise he would’ve picked someone else for the job

Turns out Watford were never interested in Greaves..

The Athletic report claimed that the Hornets had made ‘enquiries’ regarding Greaves’ availability this summer, with his asking price, said to be in the region of £5-7 million, deemed too high following the club’s drop to the Championship.

However, in his latest interview with Hornets reporter Andrew French, the Watford chairman has rubbished this claim.

“That is simply made up,” Duxbury explained via the Watford Observer.

“I find it really annoying having to explain a situation about a player that we’ve never even enquired about.

“That player wasn’t even on our radar.”

That’s a relief because that asking price is laughable

We really are a bit obsessed with this Coyle negativity.

I like Lewie. I think he has a role to play this season. However, I still think we need a better calibre of player to play right-wing-back.

Even if Coyle is first-choice, we still need another RB/RWB this season as it remains to be seen whether Emmanuel will actually play for us again. If Coyle gets injured on Saturday, we’re royally ****ed on that right side.
