You're the only person claiming to have information that says basically no sale and the Don still being the owner. The only person. Four others, all of whom know folk off the board and go to matches with them and in at least 3 cases have posted for years all say different. Surely you can see why folk would think you're passing off nothing more than an opinion and pretending to have a source.

Really? Not doubting you, that's a 'Really?' of utmost surprise. Because the only reason I could see for doing that would be if you were buying a club, as there si no other reason for having one. I'm not sure you need one to chuck a loan in.

fwiw Barnes never mentioned the fit and proper test - just that the EFL would be informed and the administrative work with them can begin. That is likely to be fit and proper tests but may also just be a box ticking exercise.

I've heard the exact same as the poster tbf. As mentioned earlier I've also heard there is something happening and that it's close from another person that I know in real life (prehab). I'm sure there's conflicting information coming out of the club because the person who told me they don't think anything is happening definitely wouldn't be making it up. NQD has said things previously that lead me to believe he has a source at the club so I don't doubt him. I'm just hoping that the positive stuff that's coming out is the real reflection of the position.

FPP already have companies and addresses that could've bought the club.

But they created a new company using the SOL as an address with the permission of the current owners.

I've never seen that ever before unless it was for the purposes of a takeover.

I was ridiculed, for ages, for saying it was a takeover ...

There’s meetings/discussions all the time I’m guessing. SD’s been trying to sell the club form the moment he walked through the door. What I said was that the ‘meetings’ didn’t mean anything was close. Obviously FPP/GF are interested In the club, and want the club, Hence the loan and continued involvement but that doesn’t mean anything is happening ‘with their lot’.

what is happening with the rest-shuffling’ of the current bums on seats, who knows. But that isn’t a takeover in my eyes. It’s shuffling the seats around in the Titanic. Means nothing

I still stand by nothing happening at the club, takeover wise, but possibly some ‘changing if the guard’. Nothing to get too excited about as it will be just the same. All I’m saying is FPP/GF aren’t at the stage of discussions regarding their own takeover. No one knows who the ‘new owners’ will be as they aren’t any. It’s status who. SD ‘leaves’ bit hangs around in the background like a bad smell while his ‘mates’ take over and he’ll still get his big pay day with none of the grief from the fans

The only thing I think seriously, is you guess at everything, the same as everybody does btw, so that’s no criticism, but you tend to put it in language that indicates certainty, and people jump on that, as you put all sides to all arguments, and therefore can’t be right or wrong. Fair comment.
Obviously I hope you are wrong.
Although I did think if Donald dragged us from administration,
Sustained us and gave us the chance to get new owners and revive the club, I wouldn't begrudge him a profit.
I don't know the facts same as most. Hopefully he isn't holding out for a greedy over inflated profit and does the right thing for the club.
