Despite being mocked when FPP were 'dissolved', when investment went into Derby, etc etc etc I've stuck to my belief 'FPP' were still involved.

As things stand they're currently the biggest investors and effectively in control of what happens next.

You said in an earlier post you got it wrong.
Well not quite,
You were right about FPP, it just turned out to be a loan rather than a takeover.

I might be wrong here so someone correct me but wasn't this exactly a year ago ?

I'm just wondering if the loan was Donald hoping to get promotion and get a better price from FPP.
A 12 month loan, now the 12 months are up but the agreement was a sale either way ?

Shot in the dark but I've always thought there must be more to it than billionaires turning up and just borrowing us 9 million.

Ah just been to sunny Suffolk for a couple of weeks no rain, temp around 30°C for 8 days and the rest 25ish. Went down there with jeans rugby shirts etc and had to order emergency delivery of shorts and the tee shirts. Jean's and Rugby shirts not taken out of the hold all.

Aye I’d be happy to go somewhere UK, but we’ve already a week planned for that end September, and there’s threat of thunderstorms all ower this week.

Guess it’s Ramside. Not the same as the Côte d’Azur like <laugh>

Not quite tbh.

It was always supposed to be a takeover.

It was only when that faltered that a loan was arranged.

I was wrong because I posted what I'd been told, that it was a done deal.

Donald obviously thought so when he introduced 'the new owners' to Jack Ross ...

... he didn't say, 'we're taking out a loan from these blokes'.

I thought the ‘new owners’ thing with Ross was Campbell though. A train wreck.

Thats what i mean,
Like Donald still wanted part of it or some such.
Negotiations may have changed from takeover to , well here's some money, get the club up and we'll come back in 12 months with a better offer, or one closer to Donald's expectations.

Bar enough trying to have a pint mate, went to meet pal for a ‘quick couple’ yesterday. 40 mins to get into Spoons.

Was ok once we knew what we were doing, sat outside with our own table, bowl for the dog and table service, do it al via the app, covid Safe, one way systems etc, wasn’t unnerving at all, expensive though considering, no entertainment or activities on

No, Ross said he'd been introduced to the new owners after the Wimbledon game iirc.

They then went to the match at the new Spurs ground on the Sunday.

Wonder if I can go in Dragons Den.

‘I’m looking for £150million for a 99% stake in my business’

Wing it back to the Prem, cash out my 1% for £30million.

Sound.

Still nice to get away though mate ain’t it. The entertainment is just background noise while you have a pint anyway. Any time away is good for the soul even if it’s just up the road.

I like Berwick and the surrounding area. Nice up there.

Storey just isn’t going away like...

If our bid successful we will publish a 20 point plan for the club on the day we take control. We have conducted a root & branch audit of the club & want our plans on the academy, recruitment, ticket prices & growth strategy to be public. The fans are the club.

Aye it was nice mate, especially as I’ve been shielding since March, Berwick has lovely beaches, dog friendly, only 90 mins away, wasn’t busy at all, takeaways to the caravan, Alton towers this weekend

Yep, and the most laughable thing is that they want irrefutable confirmation of the authenticity of the information you,and some others, have put up,but, the only way they'll ever get that is from an official statement directly from the parties involved, which ,of course, will not happen until any deal is signed, sealed and delivered!
So,all they can do is to live in their ultra-sceptic,envious bubble, derailing threads accordingly, until it plays out, desperately hoping everything falls through,so they can say told ya so! :emoticon-0102-bigsm ****ing morons!

You spelt septic wrong marra
