It was just a joke man. Magnus is a decent lad who's posted decent stuff for years. Just as with me, why would he want to invite a torrent of abuse from slack jawed arseholes ... ... believe me, its no fun.
Eh? I think you've misinterpreted my post. I was asking if its bollox that he was hour former exec. I'm not doubting his info.
Ideal mate. That whole bit of coast is smashing. In some ways probably get more of a relaxing time due to Covid, often come back from a break needing a break no chance of that at the minute at least
Fuhrman made a very low offer he's stuck to, he's now aligning support from Sartori, etc, Donald is desperate for a better bid, Gray and Storey are nowhere near owning the club. There was a meeting last week and another planned this week. If Donald caves in things could happen quickly.
Right on viewpoint A, wrong on viewpoint B ... ... if I was any more relaxed it would be classed as a self induced coma
I've no idea about Donald's current stance tbh, he could have already clucked. My only info, from the club side, is from Methven's circle who I really don't trust.
During the last takeover I was fed duff info, from 'Methven', which confused the situation ... ... I'm a bit more wary these days.
If you're ever down that way, I'll have a shout and throw in a malt or 3. Hartlepool isn't like the south of France but we have a marina and there's boats to look at!
Don't think that's a shot in the dark at all as I've thought the same. Why would a few billionaires decide to spend a weekend in Sunderland just to lend 10mil. All the press were reporting it as a takevoer an all so I've always seen the 'loan' as a down payment as it put Fuhrman in the driving seat when it comes to a sale of the club. Still think it was Don's ego that scuppered it last time but don't think he has enough rope to hang himself twice so am fully expecting some sort of new onwership in the very immediate future.
