This has grown by about 7 pages since I last looked and I can't as I'm on a training course for a new job. Anything happened or is it still speculating that backing the big picture nonsense is a sign they are staying?
I know just how they feel. I've been going since the early 60's and moved away from the area in 1970. I went to as many games as I could, even when I lived abroad for a while. When I think of the money spent on tickets, travel, overnight stays, not to mention the time spent when I was working to build a business and to raise a family,it breaks my heart to see where we've come to now. I don't know what I'm going to do....I'm generally an optimist,(which is being tested on a daily basis by this ****ing virus situation), and I cling to the hope that Donald will sell to the right people and the future will look bright. However,I've been thinking this for over a year now and it looks increasingly forlorn. My mood has never been this low with the state of football in general and the prospects for my team in particular.
It's almost all speculation mate. It will be until there's an announcement from our absentee owners ... ... which will hopefully be 'goodbye'.
Not surprising no information is being given to the fans due to our absentee owners only being interested in selling on their terms which all independent financial spokesmen have said is really not realistic in the current climate . A number of people were critical of our CEO for his statements and interviews concerning The Big Picture but was it the clubs stance or his own opinion as Essentially he is an Employee , he will have to be guarded on what he says . The losses will only mount up for the owners who have the opportunity to bail out, Stick or Twist time gentlemen - I use that term loosely .
Hi mate. Is it really sad that I can recognise you from your dodgy legs, as if I remember right what you are wearing in your avatar is what you wore for Peterborough away the season before last on the bank holiday Monday. You were still rough for your bbq the day before
Rodwells statement yesterday shows just how inadequate he is for the role. Its clear since he arrived that he has no connection to the Club and has been barely capable of carrying out day to day operations bordering on being totaly incompetent. The sooner this clown is gone the better.
I dont like giving your post a like but 100% , your on the money. Yes ,the seats were changed (by the fans for free) but not much else can be attributed to their credit.. Anyone can cost cut any business . the trick is to cost cut effectively with a forward looking plan to grow, something these clown shoes have not achieved.
I agree, it pains me, however the amount of ****e flowing around the club from these two is unbearable, and the football, well we are always one game away from disaster and lets face it, we have been very lucky in all of our games so far this season and the tactics and style of play will not change and you don't need to be ITK to know that.
Nah mate, sadly the Morpeth branch ceased after Albert and Betty Hudson, then the new Ellington branch started late 90’s. Although there is no Morpeth branch, there is still around 20 or so match day regulars, and more who no longer go live in Morpeth. STID!
Ahaha, possibly... I remember being rough, and the 6:30 bus journey was a nightmare. I soldiered on tho! Is this the Iain who ended up in hospital after drinking with me? Haha!
The hope of a big takeover with decent ambitious owners is draining from me now as the days pass. I always hoped it could be after the deadline to stop clubs upping their prices on any players but having seen parkinson saying he doesn't expect any transfers before deadline day, and that sort of blows that small hope out the water.
