Typically vague crap as per from him though, looking to wind people up after today for me which is just ****e behaviour.
To be honest anybody could say tomorrow could be interesting. It’s clear we had a manager ready to announce and that’s not happening, and the club will now be looking for a new one sharp-ish. You’d like to think they’ve already started discussions with option 2
Bob isn’t really saying anything, he hasn’t even dropped a hint as to what it could be in reference to
That will do. We need out of this division and then we can upgrade in the Championship, if required. Cowley is still largely untested. He could still be anything, it's way to early to write him off. He's mostly been highly successful with his clubs.
Yeah it would be like when Sheffield United or Bournemouth appointed fairly untested managers in league one and they never made it to the Premier League..... oh wait
FWIW - if Poyet was offered the deal today at 11 he may have well have turned it down by 12. They could feasibly have had all afternoon to work on plan B. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that plan B is already agreed, especially in an era where things are done remotely
Aye it means nowt. Every day is interesting with this bloody lot. He could at least narrow it down to whether it'll be interesting in terms of manager, sporting director or takeover. We need some good news soon mind
Typical 'ITK' tittle tattle with no substance whatsoever, people desperate to be relevant for some weird reason.
Like a said lads I wouldn't normally of said anything , its only because @Prehab26 mentioned that they had been talking recently and he Deffo had decent info I no its vague etc but after todays kick in the bollocks I'll take any kind of lift
Or like when Nuno Santo joined Wolves in league one and took them to the Premier league, or how Leeds appointed Bielsa in the third division and went all the way to the Premier league with them... oh wait
The Cowley's took Concord Rangers from the Essex Senior League to the Conference South. That takes real ability. Those are tough leagues and they did it on a limited budget. The Isthmian North, which they had to go through is a league in which everyone can beat everyone else. They then took Lincoln from the Conference to League 1. That's progression up 6 steps of the pyramid. They then consolidated a club on a downward spiral at a 7th step. One brief flirtation with relegation at the highest level they'd reach after coming from where they came from doesn't constitute failure in my eyes. With a record like that, the adaptability and willingness to learn that they've had to show, they'd be exactly the kind of managers I'd put my faith into oversee a plan to manage us to the Premier League.
Feel as low tonight as I ever have as a Sunderland supporter. Feels like we have absolutely no hope. a 4th season in L1 beckons....
