Not that bothered that Poyet has knocked the job back, if that's what has happened. More bothered that it implies some bad thinking or poor planning.
Poyet is out of work I believe, and apparently known to Sartori , possibly even as a friend. Would it not have been reasonable to agree a deal on all principles before getting this far?
Or was such a deal agreed and then changed later? If it was, and it was us, then grim times are ahead. If Poyet has changed his stance then we are better of without him. He is hardly a stellar name, stolen from a greater height, despite being a decent prospective appointment.
But it appears that things have been moving behind the scenes for some time now, and not getting this right is a woeful start.
Paul Cook for me anyway, as it has been for a bit, but whatever, or whoever, the grip of Parkinson's imposed misery has to be broken immediately. That team is frightened of itself, never mind any opposition.
