To win yesterday and Pardew perhaps to leave today? What a glorious ****ing day it will be to see that disgusting degraded bottom feeder leave. That is until Ally Mccoist wanders half pissed into a Newcastle press conference to announce his tenure as our boss. Enjoyment would rapidly turn to disaster.

Blind hatred? Jesus. Did that little run we had convince you he's the man? You're that Moyes lass aren't you?

Er no I'm pretty sure I said he wasn't the man. I just don't blindly refuse to give any credit when it is blatantly due.

Your that Ben Arfa fan boy aren't you? Have you accepted he is a fat waster yet?

I can't believe that Pardew is going to Palace. I think it's a betting coup going on with Pardew being involved.

I've laid my winnings from the previous Next Premiership Sacking (laid Pardew at 1.5 and traded out at over 10s) on Pardew being the next Palace manager. I don't believe it for an instant and if he does get the job I've lost nothing over these two bets and, of course, Pards.

In English please? ;)

I don't believe that Pardew is going to Crystal Palace.

And the second paragraph was in plain English, I should say.

But basically I am saying that in the previous Next Premiership Sacking/Leaving market on the exchanges I laid Pardew at 1.5 (that 1/2 on) to be the next one to go. I didn't think that Ashley then would sack him and I was right. I then traded out of my position when the price rose so that no matter what happened I would be in profit no matter who the next managerial casualty was.

I then put the winnings from that bet as another lay on Pardew being the manager this morning. So then if Pardew was the next manager I would lose my bet (but nothing overall as I was only risking my profits from the first bet) and if someone else gets the job then I would win as I laid him to be the next Palace manage and not backed him.

That's perhaps it in non-punting parlance. Apologies for that; I tend to speak most of the day in terms of betting and assume prior knowledge from everyone else.

Having said that earlier it does look like that I am going to be wrong on this one and that I am going to come out all square laying Pardew to leave Newcastle. This morning I laid him being the next manager of Palace at 2.4 (just under 6/4) and a few moments ago the market got to 30/100 on. In fact he's now 1/4 on on Betfair.

Those interested in dabbling in a little tax-free trading may find this a good market to play in. Although I expect to come out evens in the end here I am leaving something at evens to be matched just in the hope that the price rises and I can get out with a nice little wedge.

I still have some doubts, though not as many as before, about this as I would have thought that the news of compensation wouldn't be in the press by now. It's not like Ashley to have this sort of stuff reported but to have managers in and out before anyone knows anything about it.

Whatever happens I would like Chis Hughton to end up managing a club within the next few days.

A settlement has apparently been agreed!

Crikey.

Bit of a comedown for Pardew that.

I have my own theory why he's going. He's found out that Ca$hley has lined up the sale of Sissoko to either Arsenal or PSG and told he wouldn't be allowed to spend in January. It would mirror what happened with Cabaye last year and he wasn't prepared to go through all that again.
Palace is also his club ( like Shearer was to Newcastle ) and he still lives very close to the Palace training ground. Not the best manager we've had but good luck to him if he's he's took Ashley's **** for the last time.
Beardsley to take temp charge until it's sorted?

Oh dear Lucifer, Lord of Flies and suffering, you have heard with gleeful ears of my dark sacrament and the 500 years worth of my soul in the never reaches of darkest hell along with those two dozen or so human sacrifices have been worth this joyous moment. Your crimson warty 22 inch shaft will be worshipped and your black oily jism will be drank in my specially made skull chalis.

As I have said that I find it unlike Ashley to have any of the financial details released to the press at all. Normally managers come and go out of the blue and there's no warning.

To have reported, before anythign is signed, the compensation package details is simply astonishing when it comes to Ashley as I have never known anyone play their cards as close as he does. On the other hand; if he gets paid £2m to sack Pardew then he'll be too busy pissing himself laughing.

Oh, rumour control has Pulis on the horizon...
