As I have said that I find it unlike Ashley to have any of the financial details released to the press at all. Normally managers come and go out of the blue and there's no warning.

To have reported, before anythign is signed, the compensation package details is simply astonishing when it comes to Ashley as I have never known anyone play their cards as close as he does. On the other hand; if he gets paid £2m to sack Pardew then he'll be too busy pissing himself laughing.

Oh, rumour control has Pulis on the horizon...

Only bit that makes any sense... Ashley flogging staff for profit in his back pocket, otherwise, absolutely no way this is happening.

I was thinking what could be possibly be worse than Pulis take over or even to have Souness back. I thought that even Ashley wouldn't do that.

And then I thought... Little Mikey Owen's managerial career has to start somewhere...

McClaren, De Boer, Laudrup, Howe, Karl Robinson, AVB.

I'd take any of the above.

Laudrup YES
De Boer YES YES YES YES YES

The others I would be extremely disappointed with, particularly AVB, who has proven twice over his tactics and management style doesn't work here.

But we all know we would get none of these. I can't believe some idiots are clammering for Tim Sherwood... That's the type of bloody character we'll end up with no doubt, but I'd really rather not.

I like how every media outlet is having a ****storm now... "In talks" could be as simple as Crystal Palace's chairman sending a text to Mike Ashley, and Mike Ashley telling him to f*** off. I wish they'd be less sensationalist, particularly BBC sport, which has a duty to only report fact.
