I am someone who wants Speakman out but I do think that if you put some of our fans in a boardroom and asked them to make decisions their heads would explode.

There’s no question that in terms of what he’s brought in and potential profit for club, he’s done well.
It’s just the not reading the room, size of club, and caring about the ‘current day’ that’s a problem.
I think he deserves this window if he shanks this then I’ll be firmly in the ‘go’ camp.

How long before speakman gets sick of everyone coming for him for trying to improve the club I know some of his decisions have been ****e but he’s not intentionally trying to do a bad job

I think this is probably the clubs position too. The head coach appointment and what happens with the squad and our performance early part of next season is key.
Ultimately, forward planning and sustainable progression is sensible, but the here and now is equally important. Nobody spends a sizeable proportion of their disposable income to attend games and measure the minutiae improvements. Win games, that's what it boils down to.
It's not beyond comprehension that the likes of Mayenda, Semedo and Rusyn have all settled, 2 of them get 10 plus goals, we're in and around it in the league, playing the style of football we were previously...everyone is happy, right?
Fine margins all of this. I wouldn't want his job.
He hasn’t even been given a go at the next proper stage of this model which is actually gonna give him a chance to actually sign some decent quality. If he’s got gems out of a tight budget surely he can do a lot better with way more money
