There’s some right knackers around our club atm, spitting their dummies out, defacing our stadium, ffs what’s next misspelt bed sheets, fake coffins, infantile arseholes. I don’t know KS, never met him, therefore l neither like or dislike him, I think he’s got a job to do, and some of it he does ok, some he seems not to, but on the back of his performance in his role would I bother myself to print some stickers and go to the sheepfolds and put them in a very un prominent position just so I could photograph them, **** would I. I do hope whoever it is is on cctv, ban the **** from our matches, although given he’s probably a mag he’d probably be ok with that. Rant over.
To be fair, the fans have backed Speakman and KLD incredibly well. Despite not having a decent striker for a year and half, despite appointing an absolute and predictable dud in Beale season tickets have been snapped up. It appears now that Speakman is unable to attract an ambitious coach and seems to have made the club an unattractive proposition, despite all the talk of succession planning. This current regime has been backed to the hilt by the fans but they have performed very badly in the last six months. I think a little feedback to Speakman that he needs to up his game, drop the management speak and show a bit of ambition is quite appropriate. So, the odd sticker suggesting that maybe he ain't doing that well is hardly something for us to get upset about.

I’m still torn on Speakman.

There’s no question that in terms of what he’s brought in and potential profit for club, he’s done well.

It’s just the not reading the room, size of club, and caring about the ‘current day’ that’s a problem.

I think he deserves this window if he shanks this then I’ll be firmly in the ‘go’ camp.
If we are better now than when he came and half our team are wanted by higher clubs, I agree we should get rid of him.<doh>

He hasn’t even been given a go at the next proper stage of this model which is actually gonna give him a chance to actually sign some decent quality. If he’s got gems out of a tight budget surely he can do a lot better with way more money

Unless the year 3 plan was finishing without a manager having had two, ten places lower than last season and within a couple of games of relegation, his model has failed, would you not say?

Would you trust him to bring in better quality?

On a plus note with Beale.
They took a chance on a young upcoming manager and quickly rectified it .

I would trust him to bring in better quality before I’d trust you to write something sensible.

Completely disagree m8, there’s grown up ways to express dissatisfaction, there’s appropriate club interfaces there’s open letters to the echo, there’s feedback to sky sports news, there’s even radio phone ins from time to time, god help us there are forums like this one and rtg, there’s Twitter and facebook, social media abounds, all of them, plus I’m sure more ways that I haven’t been bothered to think about are available for the expression of views. Defacing the stadium with cheap tat is magesque, it’s the sort of thing some ****ing coward who either is too frightened to say or, more likely, too inarticulate to express will do. There’s one thing I will guarantee this won’t have made one jot of difference to our search for a manager or our recruitment plans, both of which speakman will be overseeing, all it is is an embarrassing spectacle for them ****s up the road to laugh at. My previous view remains, whoever has done this should be banned, and probably kicked to **** for good measure:)

Know nowt about Robinson so I’m in the ‘I’ll judge him on what I see’ camp. If true he must have something. Not convinced those slating him know much more than me but if so what about his teams playing style are you not keen on?
I've seen a lot of his sides and they are physical route one and he's not the sort of manager we should be considering.

I would trust him to bring in better quality before I’d trust you to write something sensible.

And I'd trust him to bring in better quality before I'd trust you to write anything but a snarky comment about other posters who actually have opinions.

There’s as much chance of Speakman being ****e as there is of him being good. He talks the talk alright, time for him to walk the walk. Yes we are in a better place than when he came, but that was a pretty low bar. Last season’s appointment of Beale and the regression is unacceptable.
He needs to nail this head coach role because he is losing a lot of goodwill

I think if we'd signed a 6'3 English CF just turned 18 who knocked in 7 goals (would presumably have been more if he'd played up top every time) in his debut season there'd be no debate about it and we'd all be psyched about seeing him lead the line next season.

He's a natural for it imo and should be trained exclusively in that position.

100% mate.

And let’s be real, had he played there all season he’d have scored a lot more than 7.

It’s almost like the solution was waving in our faces, we had options to cover the midfield.
