I dont think they would dare take the risk, its a different type of risk to Maric, and if it went wrong, I think it would be the final straw for a lot

I ****ing hope not as that would just top everything off for me, the bloke has done nothing of note anywhere and I would rather we kept beale

Might be able to impress the Speakman with a corporate PowerPoint. Similar to Beale.

I swear, if this absolute whopper who failed at Oldham / Morecambe even gets a sniff of a shot, I think it would push me past the point of no return.

Where is this succession planning, a database of the worlds best.

I dont think it happens but even if he is on the list , the standards have dropped.

Had a quick Google on Robinson and in the limited info I found he likes to play 433 with wingers and a high press.

Can see the attraction if that's correct?

He likes a high press, st mirren at very well organised and work so hard for each other

Done really well at st mirren, he did the same at motherwell, and the fans love him there - taking them into Europe is some achievement considering the small budget he has to work with

Spoke to my mate whose a st mirren fan, hes got some contacts in the board there and he says hes not heard anything at all about him going to us. His 1st comment was 'stay the f**k away from him', which was closely followed by 'the sunderland job is a bonkers job anyway' - pretty spot on that
