Fez, have a look at RISC Management Ltd, if you recognise anyone and then ask who would you rather have, him or Assem Allam.
The race card is the ****test one in the deck. One that people play when they have no real argument. It's crap like this that makes people think you can't say anything bad about people from certain ethnicities. Judge someone's post on what it is. If there's no racist content don't look for it. That's what the saddest kind of people do.
It is that simple. Without the debt to Allamhouse we are a Premier League club with next to no debt. If he is serious about walking away he's only option is to sell. Yes he could say he's walking away and Ehab is in charge, but do you think that would that be credible? Yes, he could give the club to somebody else but would you take it with a debt of £100 million owed to Allamhouse? If the FA say no it is likely he'll either accept the decision and try and get Hull City into Europe of look at selling which would mean writing off a significant proportion of the Allamhouse loan. That's how business works.
Ok so I would like to keep it simple. Allam has loaned the club about 66mil so far at an interest rate of 5%. This means that every year city have to pay Allam 66,000,000 x 0.05 =3,300,000 just in interest for one year. Allam gives us a wonderful gift of Jelavic and Long. So we now owe Allam 80,000,000 still at 5%. This means city have to pay Allam 80,000,000 x0.05 = 4,000,000 a year just In interest. This doesn't include cumulative interest. So let's say Allam wants all his money back over a five year period. The total amount city would have to pay him back would be 80,000,000 x 1.05^5= £102,102,525 Without the new strikers it would be 66,000,000 x 1.05^5 = £84,234,583 So it almost works out as better to loan the club another 14 mill as he will recieve about 18mill back In interest. He will earn more back if it is over a longer time frame than 5 years. I don't understand this 'gift' that he talks about. Or this argument that if he puts is hands in his pockets and gets us some strikers then we should be grateful. He is earning money from it in the form of interest and a wage from the club.
According to the mail this morning, in the long article, he's been doing Nick Thompsons job and sorting all the transfers. Busy time for him, maybe he'll have a chat with papa next month
Yes and he probably borrows the money as he will not have a spare £80m or so hanging around waiting for an investment opportunity, 12 month LIBOR is currently less than 1% so lets say he pays 2 or possibly even 3 over that then he will be making 1-2% clear profit with no risk - now that is good business by any measure!
Covering it a lot this morning, brazil trying to get city fans to ring in! Windass has just been on, I don't think he quiet understands it either. He also thinks it's the minority against the name change, let's hope someone rings in who's a bit more clued up
AA has not come into this club to lose money. All that think so are being quite blinkered, apart form the clubs that are badly run and go bust. No one in their right mind would throw money at a football club with no hope of a return albeit sometimes a small one. Look at Southampton for instance bought for a 14 million, now in the premiership that figure is probably five or six times that should another buyer come along and want to buy the club. Don't be blinded by the statements coming out from AA that he will walk away. He will only do that if he can make more money than he has put in. AA has run a successful business for a number of years remember. The man is not the blundering fool people make him out to be. He may move on, hand the company over to his son but will never relinquish the reigns of his cash cow. Some but not all believe he is already lining up a far east investor and the name change is part of the package being offered to enable our far eastern brethren an easier way to identify with the team come the sale. If it happens that is. This is just my take on it i have nothing to support my suspicions, but we shall see what unravels in this latest quip to the media. Plus what the outcome of the FA response will be when it eventually rolls out the verdict on the name change. CTWD
You lot genuinely seem to think that each days activities undertaken by our owner and his family should be recorded and posted online for your approval. You also seem to think that before any business decisions are made, they are also made public, for you lot to approve. Some of you even think Dr Allam doesn't have an exit strategy, and you further seem to think that Ehab isn't involved in anything to do with the club and that there isn't plans for a handover at some point to continue the smooth and efficient running of the club. You're deluded.
