So it's Hull City and NO Assem Allam

Or Hull Tigers and Assem Allam

???

If that's the case then Hull Tigers would by my choice.

I didn't realise that was the choice to be honest

You haven't got a choice, otherwise we'd have had an official vote held by the club by now.

If the council won't give me the ground, I'll **** off to Melton, if the FA don't agree my name change, I'll **** off completely.

Is this the sort of man you want as custodian of our great club?

I'm grateful to him for everything he's done, but he makes himself less likeable every time he opens his gob.

Sooner he ****s off the better.

He came, he saved.

He gave us money, it turned out to be a loan.

We were £40m in debt, the debt is now over double that.

He's running the club for the community, but the community can **** off.

He is inept, the FA should act now & put an end to his nonsense.

I've always supported him & said I would until such a time that he gave me reason not to. This is that time.

I'd rather watch Hull City in the Skrill North than Hull Tigers in the Premier League.

Yes it is, one with principles and a determined drive to succeed FOR the club, not for himself, not for a short term gain, it makes a nice refreshing change.

To the hatemongers - I assume the people who threatened to hand in passes, boycott games, boycott club merchandise if they don't get their own way are also evil blackmailers and should be ridiculed and are also not wanted?

So the poll / vote now is

Hull city no Assem Allam.

Hull Tigers with Assem Allam.

Wonder what the result would be now.

I'm off to do my housework.....

It's got **** all to do with running a successful business, it's a stroppy old bloke throwing his toys out of his pram, due to being snubbed by some dimwit at the council.

It's pathetic.

Allam wants the club to drop the 'City' from its name and be known as Hull Tigers - a move that has provoked widespread opposition from the club's fans.

However, Allam is unrepentant and says he will pull his investment out of Hull "within 24 hours" if his plans are blocked.

"No-one on earth is allowed to question my business decisions - I won't allow it," he told Sky Sports News. "And I'll give you my CV to give you comfort and show you what I have achieved.

"I'm here to save the club and manage the club for the benefit of the community - it will never, ever be the other way around - take it from me.

"But the community can say "go away" and I will go within 24 hours."

When asked what would happen if the FA said he could not change the club's name, Allam said:

"The same thing. It's a free country. There are no two ways about it - I have never said something and then gone back on it."

A little blackmail now, I suspect he's been told he needs to poll the fans.

So how do we go about telling him? <laugh>

So, is there a big local investor to take the club over if Allam goes through with his intention? And if someone says yes but can't say on a board we'll see the truth of that when the club is up for sale

Why would he have to be local?

We're a Premier League club ffs.

That's for Allam to prove. He's the one claiming he can be out within 24 hours.

I think it was Assem Allams request that they do one if they don't like the new name for his club.

As for "principles(?) and drive",you could also say "blinkered and obstinate"

Strikes me of a similar situation with Newcastle's owner, threatning to sell, and then realising that no one's interested in buying.

No one person is bigger than the Club let him ferk off and we'll learn to live with the consequences as HULL CITY AFC and be proud to be supporters of tradition. If he thinks CITY is common then he can ferk off to a Town instead.

Does anyone else see the blackmail as being aimed at the FA? After all we - the community - are kind of powerless. We can protest, sing, chant, boycott purchase of kit, refuse to buy season-tickets &c but, all-in-all, we can't do anything to affect his plan.

It's the FA he's aiming at, as far as I read it.

Happy and his brown-nose 'pro' and 'don't mind' pals better get petitioning the FA; pointing out that not all the fans are as nasty as the noisy ones.....

That depends if the FA told him on Friday that they would require a full fan vote.
