Harsh on Allardyce imo. 8th is about where Everton should be finishing. Considering the position he took them from when he took over, I think he's done a tremendous job.

Watford have the potential to have a couple of good seasons in their ramshackle stadium in front of 20k fans, West Ham have the potential to be one of the biggest clubs in the country, they're far bigger by every measure other than current league position.

Sounds like that was the reason Marco was sacked, and it still annoying them.

Watford supporters have said (maybe a statement was issued I don't know) that the tapping up affected the team and the results. So the results were part of the sacking as well as far as they were concerned.
