There is a world of difference watching flesh and blood play the game and watching ****ing pixels

Last time I looked this was still the TRANSFERS thread...
I genuinely thought I was on the Meyler new deal thread
Glp can I ask why you keep throwing this FIFA line at me, what have I said or quoted from FIFA
Is meyler not very good on FIFA?Because he assumes your knowledge is from playing the fifa game.
Not sure but glp has some obsession with itWhen people kept referring to "FIFA" on here I thought they meant the World governing body of Football. So FIFA is a video game? What is the prize if you win the game?
Carefull we don't need anyone else joining in, glp could carry this on for weeks and tell you who to supportHe's **** on FIFA and in real life
It's where most the posters on here appear to base their footballing 'knowledge'.Not sure but glp has some obsession with it
Ok so what do you think I've based on FIFAIt's where most the posters on here appear to base their footballing 'knowledge'.

See glp you've done it aginThat's a key word.
I was watching Ssn and they use stats from football managerI don't see playing football manager or fifa as an insult. Given that those games are based on real teams and people it's hardly surprising that people use them to improve their football knowledge.
Somebody who does is inevitably going to know more about world football than somebody who just goes to City and doesn't care about anything else.
People whingeing about missing Gray and slating the club really need to take into account what we already have. A club our size with our financial muscle simply cannot risk the real possibility of having Jelavic, Hernandez AND Gray post the window closing and then not getting promoted. It simply cannot be done. And I don't care what anyone says, signing a player does not guarantee promotion. Derby probably thought getting Ince on loan when top of the league would for them.
If we had sold either Jelavic or Abel then Gray would now be ours. But we didn't and he isn't, and the club have done the right thing.
It's disappointing to miss out on Gray, but there's some really OTT comments on here. Our season does not hinge on this signing and it's like some have forgotten that we have made a good start to the season. We'll know more about what to expect from this season post 2nd September but one man does not make a team.
Suppose it's farenough, we all wanted the club run properly so it is what it is.
Aye. The real mistake appears to have been dicking Torino around over Abel.
