I know they can be classed as midfield but then so can Aluko We also had Koren, Quinn and Meyler in midfield
I agree but then aluko may not be classed as a striker a few of our "midfield"got as many goals as our "strikers"!
We have Diame and Snodgrass to come back and have just added Maloney to our midfield. What's your point? Like I've posted before, I couldn't give a toss about Gray. If we keep hold of Dawson, Elmo, Hernandez and Robertson, we will have a good a chance of automatic promotion as anyone else in this league. Let's not forget, Gray was only the 11th top championship scorer last season.
That's nonsense, really it is. I've supported Abel and think he can do a good job for us, but this lad is what we have lacked for so very, very long. Bruce has and is fighting to keep quality and he knew, that with this addition, he would have made history. I want him to make history, the Clueles, totally ****ing g inept Allams want to .and money. ****'em and the bastard boat or plane he came in on. How the **** dare they talk about ambition. ****ers.
Sensible? You're having a laugh, I am absolutely furious with this, so sensible comes no where near how I feel. But thanks for the effort. You did pick on me; ****.
I think we'll be looking more at mid table finish than top table. Allams are by the look of it asset stripping the club. Niggling over £500k with Brentford moving on all our better players for cheaper ones. Four more minimum expected to leave before the window shuts.
I pretty much kept my own counsel on this move, but I have always thought, that with what we have now and coming back, we can rip this league a new arsehole. It's football, I love it, but this is just madness. You want to see me when I get animated on a training ground.
People whingeing about missing Gray and slating the club really need to take into account what we already have. A club our size with our financial muscle simply cannot risk the real possibility of having Jelavic, Hernandez AND Gray post the window closing and then not getting promoted. It simply cannot be done. And I don't care what anyone says, signing a player does not guarantee promotion. Derby probably thought getting Ince on loan when top of the league would for them. If we had sold either Jelavic or Abel then Gray would now be ours. But we didn't and he isn't, and the club have done the right thing.
