This is a transfer thread! I know there isn't much going on but ffs lads! We should maybe have our ages in brackets so some people can be a bit more respectful? (48)
Not much to do with City transfers in the last three pages, think I read one post about Bruce. The locals on here should have their own containment thread where they can abuse each other
Fair comments. I don't venture into here much, but it was initially set up to keep all the transfer speculation in one place, so can we keep it to that please?
I hate to interrupt chaps and ask a transfer related question. Has anyone heard a rumour about a fire sale in January as Allam has realised he carnt sell the club so will sell (buyers permitting) all he can take the money and collect the parachute payments in order to get his money back or some of it at least
I hadn't but I have now. I think there's more chance BT posting something interesting & that's never gonna happen.
I've moved a fair few posts to their own thread so that both can continue. Please try to keep this to transfer talk, it saves rumours getting posted on lots of threads on the board. Ta.
Steve Bruce could do worse than take a look at Walsall due Romaine Sawyers(midfield) and Tom Bradshaw(striker) 2 quality players doing well for Walsall atm. Future prospects for a higher level that wont break the bank.
Yes he has been and yes he can sign for anyone now. He simply has to wait until January 2016 to play.
More than likely started in hope from someone within the small minority of the "Allam Out" collective. Not a chance this will happen for many reasons. The main one being that you dont get much from a fire sale. Hull City 2010 as an example. The BEST & ONLY way that AA will get his wonga back is for the club to get back into the PL next summer. Nobody worth having as a new owner will want the club. End of. Once back in the PL,, AA best way forward would then be to bring in a quality CEO to run the day to day stuff and the new PL wonga would be the biggest and best investment AA and anyone else could hope to get for Hull City. IF we can get and stay in the PL from 2016 for at least the next 3 seasons then that would mean a PL income level of at least £300-400m subject to what the final figures are from the PL overseas TV deals.
Correct. Disruptive and expensive for what you get from him. But perfect for say Sunderland. lol. He can join Kevin Nolan @ the Mackems mind.
Todays Daily Star has TWS joining Hull and Qpr in the race to sign Southend gk Bentley. What is it with all 3 red top papers dragging up old nonsense yet again.? Thank god that the international break is now over for a month and the league is back.
