All a big risk. Saying ' just pay it' is a joke. We had a budget for the lad, they want a ridiculous quantity and we've not acted like a bunch of kids and thrown the money at something which could come back and haunt us, especially now we are in division 2, with the current squad we don't need a striker.
The 'ridiculous quantity' they want is 500k more than we're offering. It's not like they want 5m more..
Is that they call a power ballad? He was a good lad, was Peter. But not as hot as that Lyndsey chick.
Happy to be corrected if I am wrong Madrid, but I note you have mentioned the term 'bad boy' and something similar in a previous post. Is this really about the money for you, or have you taken a dislike to him for some other reason? If we lose our strikers we are unlikely to get in any quality before the deadline, so your argument doesn't quite stack up to my mind. Not having a go just curious!
Doesn't matter, you can't just buckle at everything. If I was buying into an investment with risk attached I wouldn't just say 'oh go on then' it's Allan's cash maybe he doesn't just want to throw another half a million at someone
Maybe he doesn't but that doesn't make it right. It depends on judgement about what a difference it makes to going up and what we can gain by doing it over not doing it.
