Not specifically Saints related but amusing all the same. Having had their keeper sent off last night, a potential long term replacement for Arsenal doesn't sound like the best of players according to the name. On BBC's gossip column it is reported that Arsenal have approached Italian side Udinese to discuss a deal for their 17-year-old goalkeeper Simone Scuffet. Sounds like a player who will not be suited to the back pass!

 

Didnt take long fir the Shaw rumours to start up again. United have allegedly offered £22 million or Chelsea are giving us Bertrand in exchange.

 

Bertrand + Lukaku + cash and we can talk... ;-)

 

Agreed. £15 million plus those two works for me.

 

Tad optimistic. I still wouldn't be happy, we want to keep shaw and add a quality striker. Would be happy with Ba or lukaku.

 

Lukaku is better than Shaw, so Shaw + £15m for Lukaku and Bertrand.

Can't help but think that lukaku is a tiny bit overrated

 

Who would win you more games, or stop you losing them, currently. Lukaku or Shaw?

They're both mainly about potential right now, but I can't help but think Lukaku's (although more obvious) is closer to realisation currently.

 

Obviously lukaku is more of a game winner, and is probably worth more than shaw (who is also a bit overrated). But he hasn't done nearly enough to justify some of the things being written about him.

 

Rather keep Shaw and buy Lukaku so we have both.

 

What a very strange thing to say? 18 years old, 2nd season playing in the best league in the world, wanted by Chelsea and other 'big' teams, value of £30M mentioned.
Yeah bring back Danny Fox?

 

Shaw needs to work on his crossing, other than that there's not much to improve on.
