If only it were that simplistic, Obadiah. I don't believe he said he would remove his funding within 24hrs, simply that he, Assam Allam, would be gone. There is no way he will sacrifice £100m over this, he is far too savvy. He can resign and leave Ehab in control, as that seems the simple way out. He can restructure the finance so he is no more than a money lender, probably increasing his return and minimising our operating funds. He can turn his back on the club and the manager, that may make Bruce open to offers. All-in- all he has a variety of options but the ones that preserve his wealth and his influence (even one removed) are the ones to focus on.
Edit: just a thought, but he could be ready to form a new company and leave Duffers in charge - now there's a scary thought.

They dont show the owners box much on TV. Once in a while but I am normally just annoyed the camera isnt pointing towards the field and not paying attention to who is sitting in it.
I very much doubt ehab is indifferent as about £75,000,000 of his future inheritance is currently tied up in the club. Success is the only possible way that will be preserved. Christopher Needler cut his losses after years of failure, and though his appreciation and commitment to football was zero, I very mu h doubt he was ambivalent to the family financial commitment the business.
