Football is entering the final stages of doing something now or is gone for good, as @Smug in Boots mentions in post few more on, bizarrely at a time football has never had so much money, obviously tv deal in france is the mega issue....no tv deal should not mean clubs fold.
Never so much money has kicked about in football, yet never have so many clubs been in bother & thats because the reality is other than money passing through clubs dont have anymore, yet players, often average players & agents have never made so much
Salary cap, spending cap, whatever they need to do something now

I agree. However, woe betide you if you try to run a club sustainably. Stewart Donald?Think they were in financial trouble a few years ago because they were demoted to ligue 2 rather than relegated iirc and sold the club to an opportunist who’s seemingly put no money in and let it get worse.
Posters on forums will unironically take the piss out of the travails of the likes of Wigan whilst talking about KLDs lack of ambition on a parallel thread.Yet I'm sure those supporters who regularly accuse KLD of penny pinching, and trying to run the club on a shoestring, are serious. It would be bad enough if we'd only seen other clubs go bust, or struggle, but we saw SAFC taken to the brink. At a time when clubs are in danger, others are awaiting sanctions and TV deals being looked at I'm happy that we have someone decent and intelligent looking after us.

The opposite of sustainable is errrr .....![]()
That was a real own goal from Tony that, Dack was a horrendous signing. And might not be very good, Mowbray pushed for Dack and look how that worked out, sometimes better leaving the scouting to the scouts and the coaching to the coaches
tbf like a 23 year old really high on form and at Brighton who are known for young talent is a far cry away from Bradley Dack hahaAnd might not be very good, Mowbray pushed for Dack and look how that worked out, sometimes better leaving the scouting to the scouts and the coaching to the coaches
Just because he's at Brighton and Le Bris wants him doesn't mean he's any good though, if they are so good at producing young talent why would they let him go.tbf like a 23 year old really high on form and at Brighton who are known for young talent is a far cry away from Bradley Dack haha

P.S I know nothing about the actual player just making the point that just becasue the manaer wants him doesn't mean he'll be good
He thinks he's good, doesn't mean he will be. Mowbray thought Dack was good and Moyes thought Pienaar and Januzaj were good..Why would the manager want him if he didn't think he was any good?

16 goals for a winger at Rangers last season at 23 is quite good i'd sayJust because he's at Brighton and Le Bris wants him doesn't mean he's any good though, if they are so good at producing young talent why would they let him go.

To be fair mate, he represents the very striker we've been on the look out for. Big/strong but still mobile. He sounds like he could be quite cultured being a wide man too.And might not be very good, Mowbray pushed for Dack and look how that worked out, sometimes better leaving the scouting to the scouts and the coaching to the coaches
