I think this will be a pattern which will continue in international football. For the majority of the Slovaks players, this will be one of their biggest games of their career. For all of the English players it simply isnt. And it shows. Not be long until a lesser team wins the tournament. The Swiss/Italian game is another perfect example.

Could be Austria or Switzerland right now mate.

No team ever wins with Kane.

Brilliant goalscorer but is his lack of pace and movement an issue?

An off the shoulder player like Ollie would make us so much more dynamic.

Kane works well when he drop deeps and plays forward to wingers run in. You know, those wingers we don’t play. Madness.

If you wanna press on with this system, then Watkins has to play.

It's the fans out there I feel sorry for. A lot of money paid to watch these gutless tossers

It's not like they didn't suspect tbf mate ...

... there's never a forgone conclusion with England, no matter how lucky the draw might be.

I stood there cringing when we played Trinidad & Tobago in the World Cup at Nuremberg ...

... they murdered us for 80 minutes and we scraped through which is what I think will happen here.

Can I call him a coward again?….

only messing but his system is so ****ing poor

You can. He has been. Time to step up for feck off.

All tournament the same. ****e. I can not believe some believe it's the players fault when we have tripper playing at left back FFS.

Gomez on at left back, Gordon on left wing, Palmer on the right as a minimum.

Kane and Bellingham invisible again

How can you come away from the season and think Trippier is the best option at left back? Just watching Newcastle you could see that Hall and Livramento are better players. Watching Liverpool you can see that Gomez can do more than a decent job there. Watching Palace back end of the season you see Mitchell playing excellent. Dropped off a bit towards the end but Alfie Doughty was pretty good for Luton. Probably didn't bother watching but Leif Davis was arguably the best player in the championship last season from left back.

It's a pathetic selection.
