Kane's movement has been shocking, foden had the ball centrally looked to pass forward - only kane ahead of him - and kane was stood still in a position where foden couldnt pass it to him Got to move more to give his teammates a target to play off
Probably a bit of a stupid statement but I don’t think your 9 should be a captain. It should be someone who’s generally in the middle of the pitch to bark orders.

No team ever wins with Kane. Brilliant goalscorer but is his lack of pace and movement an issue? An off the shoulder player like Ollie would make us so much more dynamic.
I think this will be a pattern which will continue in international football. For the majority of the Slovaks players, this will be one of their biggest games of their career. For all of the English players it simply isnt. And it shows. Not be long until a lesser team wins the tournament. The Swiss/Italian game is another perfect example.
