Sounds a bit steep to me but you're probably right. If it was that much I couldn't see us considering it, I'd guess we wouldn't go beyond 6 at the moment.
Probably not, even if we make millions in player sales.

Without a big outgoing absolutely not. If we end up selling Clarke we absolutely have to reinvest heavily, if not then the whole purpose of the model is lost. Think Coventry are a good example of what we should do, sold 2 big players and then spent big attempting to replace them.

Exactly and I believe Coventry will be right up there next season, especially if their better players aren’t sold. Wright and Sheaf to name a couple.

I had it in my head we'd paid something roughly like that for someone under Dreyfus, Clarke I guess. You'd think the strategy now would be to buy a handful of ready to go quality players now we're well stocked with youngsters and really need to be pushing on. Especially if we've got good money coming in from a couple of sales.

Who knows though <confused>

That’s exactly it mate. The supporters can see what we need, well most of us anyway.

We’ll see where the club really want to go this summer…

Quality and very versatile. Took him a while to get going but he was superb in the second half of the season. They’ll make some good profit on him, no doubt.
Wright, Simms, Latte Lath. All examples of giving players time to adjust and reaping the rewards.

They are my pick at the minute to go up with leeds n burnley - obviously lots going to happen between now and the season kicking off so itll change loads
Sounds like they’ll lose one of their main coaches to Bayern Munich and Kompany. Not sure how much that’ll affect them but they’ve got a good squad and I reckon Carrick will get backed this summer.

I think our funds might drop a bit once the 2 top table take out the rest of their loans.
Now I said I think, I know they have loans into the club.

EXCLUSIVE: Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Jobe Bellingham as one of their priority targets for the summer.

Oliver Glasner wants him and Dougie Freedman is working to convince the player.

Other clubs including Brentford want Jobe, open race — as @jaydmharris calls.
