If Jobe goes there’s no way we can let Dan Neil go this year as well

Tbh i wouldn't be totally gutted to lose Jobe if we get big money for him. Hes still very raw and should never have started nearly every game for us last season.

Brentford are an unbelievably smart club and Palace recruit extremely well from the EFL so not surprised they are after Jobe.

I guess my question of them would be why not 12 months ago.

still baffles me that we seemingly just signed Jobe without competition.

Will be incredible business for us if we get a large fee and sell on

Think his Dad especially didn't want him playing youth football anymore so that probably ruled him out of moves like that.

Glasner loves athletically raw players so I can definitely see him in that Palace side.

I really like that Palace side. Keep them all together and they’ll be my “second team” next year. Signing Jobe or Clarke into it would add to that.

It’s honestly my dream scenario - sell Jobe for a large fee that allows us to keep Dan Neil and Chris Rigg as the mainstay of our midfield, whilst using the Jobe money to sign a proper striker.

Of course hes good enough, but he's still only a kid and shouldnt be thrown into the starting 11 week in week it. Its no suprise 2 of his best games for us came after he had a rest

Feel like i'm just being negative now but it's just how i'm feeling towards the club but it wouldn't shock me if Rigg didn't sign. Would be a hammer blow that.

Kind of have to start when you are one of our best players and 2nd top goalscorer during a period when our top goalscorer is injured.

Jobe playing as much as he did is what would've led to us getting big bids, if he'd started 20 games and featured in 40 we wouldn't be getting these bids.

I honestly can’t get the stick Jobe gets. He’s 18 playing his first full season in men’s football, he is raw but some of the things he does for his age is frightening. His goal against Plymouth and Southampton, but the way he uses his body and his awareness is brilliant for someone so young.

The fact Id be pleased if he got sold isn’t because I don’t rate him. I’d just rather lose him than Neil and Rigg.

Clarkes a gonner as far as I think
