Really saddens me the Malaga plight. When I lived over there used to go to the games and the atmosphere and mood was brilliant.

Helped that they were a CL team them like but the potential was immense.

Spanish authorities didn’t get a big enough back hander to allow a privately built marina which would have brought thousands of jobs and the owner lost interest in the area and the club.

Santi Cazrola used to turn up at schools to take PE lessons with kids, everyone was so engaged.

Real shame.

Don’t know if this is accurate.
Saw it on FB and thought it might be interesting.
Plenty of room wage wise if this is true.
Any talk of freeing up wages seems unimportant when you compare with most of the others.
Of course, it may all be bollox.

The suggestion that Clarke should be dropped is strange tbh ...

... it would be akin to dropping Patterson to 'give Bishop a run in the team'.

If players like Clarke are dropped, for the flimsiest of reasons, they'll be straight on the phone to their agents.

Who suggested Clarke should be dropped?

Can see the relevance to this conversation

Who suggested Clarke should be dropped?

Well, if you're not saying Clarke should make way for Ba, what are you saying?

What should happen, should Ba be given a place in the team or not, if so who should he replace. If you're not suggesting Clarke, as you seem to be, who is it? And if you're saying no one should be dropped what should we do with Ba, not have him on the bench, sell him? Why will Ba never be given a chance ... is it because Clarke will never leave, have a dip in form, be injured or is it because Ba isn't better than what's already in the starting eleven.

"What is the use of having someone as talented as Ba on the bench because we can’t give him a run of games to prove how good he is

Ba has no chance of starting over Clarke. Clarke is the golden boy and without a run of games

Ba can’t prove how good he is so it’s a non-starter because he’ll never be given that chance.

Ba has no chance of starting over Clarke."

Pretty sure that's based on the Capology website which is about as accurate as asking your neighbour

Cut off for new signings to be involved is midday tomorrow isn't it?

There's still hope, but I expect us to face Coventry with the same squad

I believe Hemir amd a couple of the other younger ones played against Notts County last night, which would suggest he won't be starting Saturday

You did! Certainly insinuated it, but if that’s not what you meant with your “golden boy” comment, then it’s extremely badly worded

How the **** do you assume that because I’ve mentioned numerous times we have too many youngsters that we can’t get on the pitch and then finally used Ba as an example that means I think Clarke should be dropped?

If I said I think Clarke should be dropped I would’ve said “Clarke should be dropped.”

You’ve took 2+2 and pulled 7 out of your arses.
