I'm equally happy with Samed as well. Still buzzing with him. Over his injury now, was mint in league 1. That midfield will be great and we'll be able to take rigg out the starting line up for a few months which will do him the world of good
Think it will allow Rigg to bring much greater impact with having the ability to rest him. The kid has been excellent this season, but we’ve been asking too much of him.

@Scout73 do you think Enzo will be more influential than Harmer is for Sheff Utd, who I know you rate highly?
He's technically better than Hamer but Hamer has that ability to score out of nothing which Le Fee doesn't really do

Le Fee should be the best technical CM in the league, honestly he's a joy to watch when he's on it (he's pretty consistent as well)

He will pick out passes that other players at this level won't even see let alone be able to execute

While he is technically really good, he works so hard for the team and will get stuck in as well

He will bring a different dynamic to our team with his ability in tight spaces and the tempo he plays at

What I'm buzzing about is we've sign 2 of the best CMs in France from the 22/23 season, Le Fee and Samed
... samed was arguably better than him that season (totally different kind of player tho)

Lovely.

Essentially Samed is like us bringing in 2 top class reinforcements for an area of the park we are very good already.

Damaging comments are the speculative ones.

- no money
- Speakman picking team
- KLD multi billionaire ‘taking money from the club’
- Don’t want to go up.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a negative view of what’s happened on the park, especially in the hours after a game, that’s the passion for the game and club.

If you look at every summer we have the same ‘selling the Crown Jewels’ craic, it absolutely has not happened.

1 player sale each of last 2 season neither of which have damaged us.

We are all allowed opinions, I have certainly had ‘this is ****’ moments despite my nature being naturally positive. That’s fine.

Digs at Speakman and the ownership group are the ones. They have been magnificent owners. They have got a few wrong. Players and managerial mistakes. Absolutely.

Overall though, wow. It’s a ****ing A+.

From where we were 3 years ago to now, with minimal spend, to now, with genuine prospects of the PL showing we can move forward and take another huge leap with a £20million deal, the timeline of ramping it up has been exceptional.

Add in contract renewals for BDB, Jobe etc. keeping Rigg.

We don’t wanna piss this owner off. They get it. They want it.

Right owners, right manager, right ambition, right players.

Several years in League One is firmly in the distant past now.
Great post Nads! :emoticon-0137-clapp

I can't quite believe this has actually happened. I said it a couple of days ago, but it's the most ambitious signing we've made in my lifetime. This is a real statement of intent that we're aiming not only for promotion but to establish ourselves back in the top flight and I've no doubt we're going to do it.

When European football experts like Andy Brassell and Julien Laurens are commenting on a Sunderland signing, you know you've made a splash in the transfer market.

If that's our business done now, I'll be satisfied.
If we can go and get someone like Louie Barry still and some right back cover, I'll be ecstatic.

Even when we started so well, I didn't think this would be a Championship winning season. Now I do! <cool>

‘If that's our business done now, I'll be satisfied.’

Due to the fact we have half a dozen good players becoming fit, more to come and the likes of Mayenda, Aouchiche, Isidor, etc now progressing as they should I’d be happy as well …

… unless we're selling one of our better players I don’t think we can bring many more in without affecting the team spirit.

We can’t be sidelining players like Rigg, Mayenda, Roberts, Hume, O’Nien, etc without that changing imo.

He reminded me off kante when I watched him, obviously not as good but he's a player that covers a lot of ground quickly

Breaks up play well but at times is a bit sloppy in possession, tbf he's a prefect compliment to our other CMs
No worries about his 5' 7" height then, if he plays the Kante role?

Think “unselfish” is the best way to describe a Samed type player. Will absolutely run himself into the ground doing the dogs work so the others around him can perform

Can’t wait to see the lads on the pitch hopefully get a glimpse today, the shop over the road from the pub has ordered some humble pie ( it’ll be a big seller ) for those that said we wouldn’t buy and had no ambition COME ON the HVP

Mad to think Dion was seen as beyond us 2 years ago.

Hope that goes well for him. Good lad was decent for us.
Good player him to be fair and worked with the manger there before so harsh me including him really :emoticon-0102-bigsm forshaw though, Jesus even the Plymouth fans are laughing at that one
