I’d agree Ba given a run there would be the only option, we just lose the left foot/right foot balance.

I’d still be inclined to scrap inverted wingers for couple games and see if we can get crosses in earlier. Swap Clarke and Roberts. Another potential option is Roberts as a 10 and Ba wide. He’d draw a lot of fouls at the very least with his ball control which is utterly unmatched in the squad.
Mind Ba’s finishing at this point is also dreadful

To be fair you dont make at Chelsea and be ‘****e’ as loads of our fans are saying. We aren’t exactly the best team to play for as a striker, he’s not missing chances like what altidore was if ppl remember those missed ha.

So signing for Chelsea automatically makes you a good player?

He offers nothing

Gareth Hall and that prick of a CH spring to mind

I've been thinking about that too. Especially if we play two up top say Hemir and Rusyn so there's somebody to aim for.

I've been thinking this. Clarke seems to br getting shown down the line a lot more recently, so he has to check back and that's slowing us down.

Aye a would say he’s a good player. I just find it funny calling a player ****e at footy when most of us have played local footy as a level and calling a player ****e who’s made it as a pro at at a premier league club ha.

Big fan of Roberts mate. I don't need convincing. Watch all of our games so can see what he does for the team, but on paper, he will look garbage with his stats of goals and assists
he's one of them ,if he had the stats and and goals to back up his play he wouldn't be lingering around the championship, he's be top 6 in the prem if he did

ahaha this is me all over this when watching a match, half the time a through ball is option and the don't do i'm going of it in me head, thinking i could of made that pass, but in reality i'd still be in the tunnel trying to catch me breath from the warm up ahaha

One of the biggest hidden stats in football is ‘pass to assist’ or ‘play before assist’.

A few lads on here are I to coaching and scouting and they’ll know. It’s a massive secondary stat and one where Roberts would likely shine.

He does need more final product but we are always a weaker looking and less threatening side without him. That’s stone cold fact and staring us in the face last few weeks.
Think I read he was actually the highest in this division for “ pre- assists”

I played against a few ex pro and ‘nearly’ pro lads in The Costa del Sol league when I lived over there and you couldn’t get near them.

There was a lad Joe played for one of the teams he was a keeper and had done 3 years pro, think was at West Brom and not made it, you couldnt score past the ****er.

We played a friendly against Rio Ave youth team one time and I swear it was a shambles, while you are processing stepping in to challenge they have done you and gone.

Its incredible the level it takes to even get close to a team in The top 2 tiers in England. Like you say there’s not a player in the setups of any of them clubs that’s remotely ‘****’

So its impossible to identify if a footballer is rubbish unless you are a pro player

Give it a rest man, you are talking pure faeces

I have seen enough crap players to recognise one when I see one

He will not even end up playing championship football

Haha that’s your opinion mate but mine is that even if he made it to only league 1 level I’d doubt any of us are able to say he’s crap. Watch them in training and see the standard they are at, frightening really how good they all are.
