Dyche actually had a higher overall win percentage at Everton than Moyes has in his first 13 games. Moyes just had a new manager bounce, but they'll fade. Dyche was very good when he took them over, but they stagnated due to lack of decent signings.
Ah yes, it was this season I was referring to
13 games is a big new manager bounce, must be lower gravity up there

Starting to think more and more that Cooper is the best option. Look how bad Leicester are right now and is their squad really all that much better than ours?

Yet they scored in 10 of their 12 league games under him and in those 12 league games got the same amount of points as we have managed all season.

He's definitely the safest option IMO. He's certainly a good manager but I'm with LTL - his appointment wouldn't excite me as much as Rohl's would.

He would be good for the academy too. Won the u17 world cup as England youth manager.

I just didn't realise quite how stark the difference was. Leicester's last scored a home goal when Martin was still managing us and have only scored in two matches in 2025 yet they scored in 10/12 games he was in charge.

The fact he got as many points in 12 games as we've got in 31 really shows up how pathetic we've been too.
