He’s coached at the top level, and he’s oversaw an incredibly successful job at Reading under terrible circumstancesInteresting background. But no idea why we'd think he'd be a good replacement. Why?

With the need to replace half the squad in the summer, you'd at least want the stability of a known quantity with regard to playing style and the remaining players already knowing what their roles are. We've compounded the transfer issues by employing a new maverick management team, with no experience in English football, trying to play a way nobody seems to understand. The issues we now have, are entirely self-inflicted and not remotely surprising.
- The players aren’t happy with the system
- The system is rigid with no flexibility
- The style of play has become as dull as Liams on a bad day
- Tim has been disrespectful to fans & journalists
The only thing Tim can do to reverse any of this is to get results. But, we are so easy to plan against and pick off that I can’t see this happening.
I also quite like Baz’s suggestion of Ruben Selles at Reading as a replacement.
Bloody hell that's taking it up a gear, suggesting replacements. Baz has really got it in for Walter.
If that's true, Calhanoglu acted like a true Galatasaray fan, did a good economic damage to Fenerbahce board member.I don’t think any of them did. Walter was passed on by Calhanoglu at Inter Milan a world class player who rated Walter from his time under him earlier in his career. He is clueless though as some would lead you to believe.
The research into him was clearly short handed as they completely shafted him in summer
We spent big money this summer and we have a good squad.
Last summer we didn't spend much at all in comparison.
I don't know why this idea that last season's squad was significantly stronger is so popular. I suppose it comes from the hype around our January spending, but judging an entire squad based on the half-season loans of two or three proven quality players plus a few cheap unknowns who barely played seems a flawed measure to me.
from the start of the 23/34 season we had Tufan, Seri, Morton, Philogene, Conolly, Vinagre, Delap, Twine plus others - most of those I would argue are much better than what we have now so nothing to do with the January window - Rosie had a much stronger squad than we have now - the present squad has a lot of potential - hopefully they play well and grow in confidence and progress rather than lose confidence and go backwards

Were they better, or were they looked good because team was more organized.from the start of the 23/34 season we had Tufan, Seri, Morton, Philogene, Conolly, Vinagre, Delap, Twine plus others - most of those I would argue are much better than what we have now so nothing to do with the January window - Rosie had a much stronger squad than we have now - the present squad has a lot of potential - hopefully they play well and grow in confidence and progress rather than lose confidence and go backwards
I can’t believe you included Vinagre.![]()
he was better than Giles when he was playing
