Totally disagree mate...If you think that being part of something is solely reliant on having financial investment, then I feel sorry for you..
I feel sorry for you too. Enjoy your illusion, mate. Football hasn't many of those left nowadays.

No no. I respect your stance on this issue very much even we dpn't see eye to eye.Have I said that I'm better than anyone else? If so I would like it pointed out to me..
Aye I booed the **** off. plus I booed Danny Graham on![]()
So you telling me Wickham didn't deserve abuse yesterday? even ****ing danny Graham ran more than him.
Got nowt to do with shares in the club. We invest our money, time, passion, etc and that makes it more ours than owning the whole of the issued share capital of the company IMHO. There'd be no club anywhere without fans.
So you are saying that you don't feel part of the club then, because I certainly do..I used to invest my money, time, passion, etc., in supporting Tina Turner concerts too. It never made her mine. And SAFC isn't yours either. I've supported Sunderland since the 1940s, but I never succumbed to any illusions about it. Less so as time goes by, as it happens.
Or did he feel part of Tina Turner? So you are saying that you don't feel part of the club then, because I certainly do..

Yes..said she was simply the best...Or did he feel part of Tina Turner?![]()
You can't sing that in Glasgow for some bizarre reason.Yes..said she was simply the best...

That it's on her ****ty limits? Is it true what they say about her Nutbush.
Laughed my heed off when they played this at half time during a Rangers v Sunderland match, and the whole ground joined in with a chorus that berated both the pope and the IRA..

My dad was a mag.Tina Turner is an be-wigged American Buddhist pensioner who'll die quite soon ......... SAFC will never die.
It's something that's passed down through generations with a sense of pride and tradition.
Choosing to 'support' Tina Turner is like choosing to support Man Utd, Barcelona or Memphis just because they perform well.
She has absolutely nothing to do with your family or heritage.
Sunderland is in the blood of my family and I'd support them if they plummeted to non-league.
If you feel that the club is yours, less & less, then you've totally wasted the time you've 'invested'.
Personally, I feel more pride than ever before as I see my sons & grandsons wearing the Red & White.
My dad was a mag.
He never pushed his opinions on us, he allowed us our own choices.
Me on the other hand brainwashed my son into the SAFC fraternity thus condemning him to a lifetime of sporting misery.
Spot on mate...We do have our ups as well as our downs..Last season I was at the semi-final for a couple of days, with one of my sons, and had a great time.
We spent 4 days in London for the cup final, Covent Garden etc with lovely Sunderland people, and it was unforgettable.
I was at Newcastle recently to see a Sunderland lad score the goal to beat them on their own ground.
We watch PL football every season.
Miserable?
Anybody who disagrees or can,t see the passion, truth and logic of this post does not have SAFC in their bloodTina Turner is a be-wigged American Buddhist pensioner who'll die quite soon ......... SAFC will never die.

Clearly the football club does not mean the same to all of us on here...
